I have a good feeling about the NX. Nintendo seems more dedicated to this console than they were with the Wii U.

I'm planning on buying a DS to play the Pokemon games I've missed out on.
But the question is which DS should I get? The 2DS sounds like what I'm most leaning to, but is there something that is worth buying the 3DS or XL for?

The 2DS sounds like what I'm most leaning to, but is there something that is worth buying the 3DS or XL for? I've been debating the same. I want to get one just for Mario and Zelda games mostly. I will be using it on my couch 95% of the time so I was leaning towards a 2DS as well. However, just today they announced a new 3ds bundle with Mario Land 3D for $150 which is tempting

The 2DS sounds like what I'm most leaning to, but is there something that is worth buying the 3DS or XL for? If you get the New 3DS (confusing name, but it'll literally say that on the box), you can download Super Nintendo games from the virtual console, and it can play Xenoblade Chronicles because it has stronger hardware. That's really the only advantage of getting that versus an older model or a 2DS. jacktunney

I personally have the 3DS but that's because both times I have bought it, bought the original for XY and the 3DSXL when my cat knocked the old one onto the hard floor from the table, but that was because they were on sale. I would have gotten the 2DS otherwise. But to be fair it's personal preference.

So has anyone played the new Monster Hunter game? Is it worth picking up after all the hype?
