I know he's only had one basic and one Elite so far, but when did Ryder's figures shoot up in value? I'm usually not a scalper, but Wal-Mart here has two of his Elite's that have been on the shelf for a few weeks now, and now they're going for $50 - $60 on eBay and Amazon? I might just pick them both up to sell, they've been sitting on the shelf long enough. I'd go for it. If you don't feel right about making a profit, you could always trade them for other figs you like.

I paid $10.99 for Zack Ryder's Basic 10 figure from Amazon in June of 2011....and I paid $15.99 for Zack Ryder's Elite 9 figure in July 2011. I'll never give one of those eBay people or people who post things to Amazon the satisfaction of getting triple or more for what the retail price is. I'd actually rather drive around for weeks and burn hundreds of dollars worth of gas than have those Chumlee's get my money. Bottom line, if I can't find it at retail or get it for retail price....I'll just have to live without it then. True but remember some people may list the bidding starting at 12.99-14.99 and next thing you know the bid is up to $40!!! Plus if it's just sitting in the pegs getting dust might as well buy it!!!

Seriously? yeah i certainly don't see the logic behind blowing 100 dollars in gas trying to save a buck on action figures. you're opening your wallet either way. to me my time is more valuable so if im paying someone on ebay 5 bucks over the retail cost i can live with it.

Are you of the belief that you get some kind of award for not buying things above retail? Hey, if you're satisfied with missing out on things you want, then all the power to you. I have no problem buying a figure for $30 if it means I don't have to drive all over and look for it, often times not finding it at all. The best part about it, it shows up at my front door. I'm sure spending hundreds of dollars in gas to get what would take $15 extra online makes sense to you, but it seems crazy to me.

Well for the past two months or so, every time I see a kid or parent shuffling through the figures, when I ask who they're looking for, they always say Zack Ryder.

Not to mention the time it consumes. Lorenzo seems like he can deal with coming up short on fig finding, but I got really frustrated the last time it happened to me. Now I do my "circuit", the 4 retail stores between my job and home, then I go online if I strike out. I still remember sitting in my car, with steam coming out of my ears over a basic. I'll just pay the shipping fees next time.

Grab 'em and sell them on ebay! I got one on ebay right now. I don't "feel bad" for selling it. If people are willing to pay it and I can find it, so what? It's a free market economy. The market dictates the value. Doesn't make me feel like a loser when I have extra cash in my pocket.
