I first started collecting when I was 5. My very first figure was Hulk Hogan. In fact, I got a Hasbro Ring and Hulk at the same time and my Mom let my brother get a figure to. What did he choose? Hulk Hogan. So, for a while that is all we had. Eventually my collection grew to well over 300 figures spanning all different brands and then it ended during the TTL era. Last year a bought a few figures on ebay for fun and recently I have started working on the Wrestlefest project I have mentioned in a few other threads.

24, soon to be 25 and I first started with a bca Undertaker and Bulldog. I bought a few ttl's and was not interested in the classic superstars. I thought my figure days were over until i came across the SDCC Ministry of Darkness Undertaker...Mattels attention to detail and realistic scale have me hooked!

Turning 37 this year... First figs I saw in Belgium were Hasbros in late 1990. However in 1989 or 1990 my parents had bought me the motu-style bootlegs of Hogan and Studd. In 1995 I started collecting, went by the local toystore to see if they still had some Hasbros. They did; a couple of the blue rings and some series 1 figs. I ended up buying all and selling the duplicates on eBay. Bought some LJNs over the internet from a dutch guy (way before I knew Stomwijf). Totally hated the Jakks figs, but own some. Bought the OSFTM WCW figs mainly. When Toybiz/Marvel got the WCW license we finally saw wrestling figs again in belgian toystores (apparently in the south of Belgium Jakks figs were sold too...). Discovered the beautiful japanese lines and as of early 2011 own a complete loose set of Popys. Since Mattel does WWE figs we've seen some in our toystores. Mostly I'll buy 2 figs: to have an opponent, although I don't actually play with them

29. Did anyone else enjoy hurling the LJNs at your friends as much or more than actually playing with them? It's amazing how much wrestling figures have progressed - now I won't buy basics because I'm picky about accessories & articulation, when back then I was just amazed to have "Magnificent" Muraco in front of me.
I also collected all of the Hasbros until towards the end of the line.

Luckily I am not the oldest one here, but I am 35 :-)
Got some Hasbro's when I was a kid, later started collecting Jakks, and now I am hooked on Mattel.

Lol its funny now but at the time it sucked. Bundy was a heavy figure!
