5 Giants Needs: 1) Need to draft either LT or MLB in first round and the other in the second 2) Draft a RB in the late rounds 3) Sign a cheap replacement for Manningham (UFA, will get money elsewhere) 4) Re-sign Aaron Ross 5) Get a new punt returner 4) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 5) we havent had a return on ST for a TD all season, quite sad.

He filled in for Patrick Willis this year while he was hurt and was lights out, probably wouldnt cost a ton but could/would be an upgrade depending on who/what you have. Plus he's a young guy and something you can keep for long term if it works out. Id love to have him back on the Niners but with Willis and Bowman, there's really no place for him.

So how long until the NFL actually starts up again? 8 months? 9? Must be so dull if you're a gridiron fan. FA is sometime in March, the draft is in April, and then training camp and preseason starts late summer. It sucks but like TRW, I follow other sports to keep me occupied. Sounds horrible. I can't imagine that in football. We have the main season August-May, then a few international games/a full international tournament (switches every year), then preseason starts in July and we begin again. Not to mention transfer windows in June-August and January. Theres never a day without a new football story.

I can't wait to see what the Jets do in free agency. It will def. be interesting. I'll be a little upset if the Colts get to keep Peyton i gotta say unless Miami gets him lol. I just like the big hoopla of where will he end up.

Do you guys believe in the whole ''Super Bowl loser hangover'' thing? Honestly I can't see any many teams in the AFC other than maybe Houston if Schuab comes back healthy that will be able to stop the Patriots next year.
Also...all this Tom Coughlin talk about being in the Hall of Fame, honestly..I think if he has a couple more 10+ win seasons and makes a run in the playoffs again, than he's a shoe in..he probably could make it on a couple of ballots right NOW, but he'd have a better chance if he just continues this success.
Giants 5 needs this offseason.
1. Re-sign Ross 2. Draft a big, fast, playmaking tight end (Every elite offense has one of these guys) 3. Offer Manningham a contract, if he doesn't take it let him walk (Kind of corresponds with #2, if we re-sign Manningham the TE wouldn't be as big as a need, if he walks..it's a huge need) 4. Offensive line, offensive line, offensive line..rounds 2-5 and even free agency look for small pieces to fix this horrid line, and hope Beatty returns to full form. 5. Honestly..we say this every year, but we've honestly been fine without a playmaking linebacker..and after seeing how Boley/Blackburn have played during this stretch and how great Jacquain Williams has looked..this shouldn't be as high on our list as some people think.
And all this Peyton/Eli talk is blasphemy.. I knew it'd happen if Eli won, and I guarantee if we lost Eli would be called worse than Big Ben/Rivers/Stafford..

Here's some good news (kinda) for fans of teams in the NFC West.....Every year since 2006, the division that has played the AFC East during the regular season has sent a team to the Super Bowl. Next year, the NFC West plays the AFC East! Looks like my Niners have a chance! haha

NE benefited from an easy schedule, and a weaker than usual AFC. They're not the juggernaut you're making them out to be. Unless they finally address the pass-rush and get Brady a stud WR (outside the numbers). The conference is wide open as of right now.

Two first round picks..everybody on that team is a year older (good, and bad) and wiser.
Again, I wouldn't be surprised if they were the #1 seed again.

Here are the Las Vegas MGM Grand's odds for the Super Bowl in the 2012-2013 season.
New England Patriots 5-1 Green Bay Packers 5.5-1 Pittsburgh Steelers 6-1 Philadelphia Eagles 6-1 New York Giants 8-1 New Orleans Saints 10-1 San Francisco 49ers 10-1 San Diego Chargers 12-1 Houston Texans 12-1 Chicago Bears 17-1 Detroit Lions 18-1 Atlanta Falcons 18-1 Dallas Cowboys 20-1 Baltimore Ravens 20-1 New York Jets 20-1 Indianapolis Colts 25-1 Tennessee Titans 30-1 Cincinnati Bengals 30-1 Buffalo Bills 50-1 Kansas City Chiefs 50-1 Seattle Seahawks 50-1 Denver Broncos 50-1 Carolina Panthers 50-1 Miami Dolphins 50-1 St. Louis Rams 50-1 Oakland Raiders 60-1 Minnesota Vikings 60-1 Arizona Cardinals 60-1 Cleveland Browns 75-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 100-1 Washington Redskins 125-1 Jacksonville Jaguars 150-1

It's really frustrating that they continue to make the Chargers so high on the list when they haven't even made the playoffs the last two seasons. 12-1? Embarrassing.

Patriots have 2 #1's and 2 #2's. They have a ton of free agents though, but if they get a solid WR and some defensive help, they will be the favorites in the AFC

Those odds are something. The colts are 25-1? I wonder what they will go to if Peyton leaves. The jets are at 20-1, not to bad i guess.

Eh, their line was pretty awesome this year all things considering. If Waters retires, I agree, but Vollmer who was arguably their 2nd best lineman was out for most of the year. I dont think offensive line is a focal point unless Connolly, Koppen, Waters all leave and I doubt they do. 1. Playmaking WR (Blackmon = boner) 2. Corners (Can we count on Ras I?) 3. Pass rush. NO ING RUNNING BACKS OR TIGHT ENDS!!!

Rotoworld had Blackmon falling to the Jets in the late teens, if thats the case, the Patriots could trade up but obviously thats against Bill's religion to trade up.

I hope the Bucs get Blackmon if they don't get Claiborne.

Blackmon could be taken 2nd overall..so that's a no.
I'd like the Giants to go after Dwayne Allen, TE from Clemson..dude is a freak of nature.
