Well, it's past midnight and that means it is Monday and the Underground has returned. Episode #1 of Zero_Distance and the official website are online! Not much to be said here, just view, enjoy and respond!

My apologies on the delayed response. Work piles up and real life is hectic. I've actually only got time between processes at the moment. Every free second filled, heh. Opening segment with Joey, Cyrus, Punk, and Danielson was well written. Definitely establishes what it meant to. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about play by play for everything but bell to bell. It's an interesting format, and I'm sure it makes for much more productive shows, but I don't know if wrestlers can entirely get over as dominant, their finishers over and such, so WHEN fully written out matches are produced, I'm not sure it'll matter. For example, if Bane goes on a killing spree with his katahijme, will it matter if someone finally escapes it? It's something to consider. Interesting segment with Dolph and Mulligan. Feud set right off the bat. Nice Colt commercial. I kept hearing about Cliff Compton. Kept hearing his name everywhere. People talking about him like he was a big deal or something. I watch a LOT of wrestling and watch pretty much every wrestling that matters and I had never heard of this guy. But when I heard he was going to be on Wrestling Road Diaries 2, I asked someone, "who the is this guy?". When I was told who he was, I literally lost every bit of interest I ever may have potentially had and started disregarding any time I seen his name mentioned, and started wishing it'd stop being mentioned. him. Him beating Kingston is something I don't approve of at all, in any circumstance. The Regal segment was.. goofy. Overall, I like the show. I do think the matches could use a bit more to them, because they just seem incomplete a lot of times, especially compared to how complete the rest of the show is. The rest of the show, however, is great and really presents the show nicely and gets everyone over, which is the idea behind TV.

Thanks for your reply man, it's much appreciated.
My side of the match overviews, is simply that I use to match to further a story. Try to get the story across, without the drowning of text. Establish the characters and the angles, but make the read flow much easier. However, when I do big shows they will be full description. Sort of that extra punch to make it special.
I hope I can turn your opinion on Compton. I'm not the biggest fan of his in ring work, but his personality is amazing.

My apologies for such a delayed reply. School work has kept me insanely busy and, unfortunately, I haven’t been able to read and review many shows.
Hell of an opening to the show. You write CM Punk extremely well and have his “best in the world” attitude down to a tee. His confrontation with Danielson was entertaining and I’m sure as hell looking forward to their match with the title on the line. Love the heelish move on Punk’s part by going for the cheap assault on Danielson.
Conscious Insanity vs. The Young Bucks Pretty evident that Conscious Insanity would retain their belts (never a good thing when the challenger(s) are introduced as “already in the ring.” I’m more of a fan of writing full length matches but it seems you could make it work.
Dig the “Memories From The Underground” segment
Very intrigued with who attacked Conscious Insanity. Cyrus is right, that team certainly made a point. Can’t wait until the culprits are revealed.
Excellent segment with Dolph Ziggler. Always enjoyed that gimmick of his and I look forward to his match against Axel Mulligan.
Typical Colt segment! Hilarious.
Nice Cliff Compton interview though I have no idea who he is. Eddie Kingston vs. Cliff Compton Kingston gets screwed twice in a row. Yikes. I could really see the war continue with these two with Kingston getting screwed over (or flat out loosing) before picking up the big victory. Very interested where you’ll go with this potential feud.
Really funny yet…wtf…segment with Regal and Manny Calavera.
Bryan Danielson vs. CM Punk Not really shocking that Punk picked up the victory. Sounded like an awesome match, this definetly continues the feud between the two because Danielson won’t stop chasing that title. --- Overall, the show was enjoyable. I think the matches could use a couple of more lines of description; sometimes, the matches are just as important as an awesome promo/interview/segment (though I don’t have to tell you that). Great job.
