Great news! So great to see a man who has done all there is to do in the wrestling industry become a MASSIVE worldwide movie star and live a life that any of the current roster would kill for only to come back and honour his roots and appear at 3 Manias when he didn't even have to.
Rocky is a class act.

Well I guess this confirms that The Rock didn't "lie." I mean, he said he was back and he's back in the role he was in before he left...appearing just a few months out of the year. I don't care really, he's entertaining when he's out there but he takes up too much time. As long as there's no more 45 minute promos and shows dedicated to him, it's whatever.

Al I can do is laugh about all the Rock hate around here. If you guys thought he was going to be appearing on a regular basis then you were setting yourselves up for disappointment.
Everybody likes to point to the "I'm back home and never going away speech" but it seems like a lot of people misinterpreted that. It's naive to think that he would turn his back on a lucrative acting career and go back to wrestling full time.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with him making periodic appearances because his mere presence makes the product better. If you expected anything different, then that's on you.

Awesome news. People focus too much on the time that he doesn't spend there, rather than just enjoying the times that he does. If he wrestles next year, that's pretty much commitment to be in 3 matches. This years WM and Summer Slam and next years.

I would ask what the point of his promo was if the end result is the same thing he was doing seven years ago? Rock being "back", or Rock being "gone"...both result in random appearances every few months. The phrases "I'm back home" and "never going away" would indicate that he would have more of a presence than he previously did, would they not?

WIN! Seriously I'm glad he's sticking around quite a bit. But I doubt He'll be doing as much building for it like he is now...

I'm sure he will be there, but whether or not he's in the ring is a different story.

Hilarious that The Rock says he's going to be at Wrestlemania next year and people here say "who cares" or whatever. And then you're the same people that'll bitch nonstop about how he doesn't keep his promise of staying in wrestling and keeps leaving, etc.

For some reason Vince thinks rock cena is a dream match but you need to realize there from 2 different eras if you grew up on the rock then rock/ hhh or roCk/Austin or rock/taker for the streak is a dream match I could care less about rock cena

Two Icons from two different eras facing off in a big match that no one thought they would ever see, Hence the phrase 'Dream Match'.

Hogan was the man when I grew up. The only guy from that era that could still have a match because he is in amazing condition is The Ultimate Warrior. Rock vs Warrior at WM29 would be a dream match but Warrior would not do it and I don't blame him after that DVD WWE put out.
