I would be excited if it wasn't for a phone.

I'm still excited, but I know what you mean. I hate the touchscreen controls on iOS games -- I don't even own an iPhone or iPad, but my girlfriend does so I'll play it on hers. But I'd love for it to be released as an XBLA/PSN game. Or ideally (and this will never happen) on the 3DS eShop.

Yeah, I mean I'll probably check it out and I can't blame them for going after the app market; but I'd much prefer an XBLA/PSN release. Maybe if it does well they'll look into it? Who knows.

Let's hope it comes out on Android and has Kindle Fire compatibility...

If this doesn't come out for XBLA then THQ are truly morons.

There probably is demand for this type of thing. I just don't think the demand was that it had to be played on an Iphone.

There's a chance it'll suck giant balls, actually. Anyone play the previous THQ WWE phone games?

I like how it's always wasted money because it's not available to you.

I like how it's always wasted money because it's not available to you. Um, I don't know what you're talking about, but it IS "available" to me. Why would I want to play the game on a tiny screen of my phone with lame touch controls when I could play on my large tv with physical controller in hand?

Well that's not wasted money then, that's just your personal preference even if most people disagree with it. I'm looking forward to it. Touch controls aren't bad once you know how to handle them. GTA III has awesome touch controls.

The market for wrestling game is primarily already established on the various consoles and not mobile phones. If you were to tell someone that an update to Wrestlefest is coming out their first reaction would probably be to ask whether it was on PS or Xbox. I can see why people would be confused about why they wouldn't release it on a home console considering that is probably were the majority of the customer base is for this game.

This looks amazing too bad I am a cheap bastard and have a cheap ass phone lol. But my wife has this Samsung galaxy phone thats pretty new will it work on that?
I have thought for years that THQ should be putting out games for the arcade or the PSN and this would be a great start.

Personally, I don't have an iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, and I don't have the money to get one, so I'm stuck with what I've got. Therefore, it is wasted money on my part.

I completely agree with you. When I told my friend about it he assumed it was on Xbox Live Arcade and asked how many points it would cost. However, I think the reason why the market for wrestling games is established on consoles is because there hasn't been a solid one on iOS or any mobile phone. Perhaps this game is striped down enough to where it plays well on a phone and it'll open doors for more titles?

If they used the same basic engine and kept the same style of graphics from the beautiful thing that was WrestleFest 91. I would buy this app. However, I HATE using the screen to control games like this AND from the screen shots, the graphics aren't the throwback simplicity that I was personally hoping for. Oh well. :/

The graphics aren't too bad, I guess. Not pixels or sprites but the cell thingys of newer generations. I would prefer this to be a 3DS port or something.
