I put down the full amount on my 3G Vita a few hours ago, and I bought Uncharted: Golden Abyss while I was there. I've got the game sitting right here. It's so crazy how small it is. Can't even word how excited I am. This is the first system I am getting launch day in my entire life. I had a very fortunate childhood, always had the current system within a year or two of release, but this feels very cool that I have paid this off myself and I'm taking care of it myself. I'm 21 and this is what makes me feel adult, haha. Share.

I will have mine within a few days of launch. Waiting on my tax return. Paltry $200 but that's 80% of my price, since I'm just getting the WiFi model. Thought about the 3G one [though I may still get that one]....Super Stardust Delta is not an enticing title but it is free.

Should have mine on release. Ended up getting Rayman Origins along with an 8GB memory card and the Wifi system. Very excited. I'll have to pick up Uncharted soon, also.

I'm considering taking some games in. I decided to stick with the 3G system, because u can always turn the 3G off, and you don't *HAVE* to use it, but it'll be there if u want. I'll probably be throwing the 3G voucher up for sale on here, same as the price/month, $15. If I do get the 3G console, and someone wants the 3G voucher, shoot me, a PM, I'll gladly sell it. I won't use the 3G but to have the functionality in the event that I ever want it, I'll have it.

I'm so very tempted to get the WiFi model. Would definately get FIFA, along with some of: Virtua Tennis 4, Uncharted, Wipeout and Marvel vs Capcom.

I was excited about it at first but I'd rather shell out that money on a new xbox than a handheld console. I loved the original PSP though so in time maybe I'll buy it.

I got $73.50 on the 3G model. $199 coming really next week from my taxes so I need just $27.50 for the total.

Officially just 2 days, 3 hours and 37 minutes until the release. I am gonna try to get Uncharted so I have something to play and not just PSP games or Super Stardust Delta. Gonna be using my 2nd PSN account that has Wipeout HD on it from the Welcome Back program so I will that on Vita for free.

I feel bad about how ignorant I am to this system. I want it eventually, but I don't know much about the differences between the WiFi and 3G models. Obviously I know what it means on an internet connectivity level, but I'm confused about this monthly fee stuff. I honestly have no desire to pay any monthly fees, nor do I plan to do any online multi-player/internet browsing stuff. As long as I can update my system regularly, I'm fine.
I'm assuming it doesn't matter which one I get regardless of what my online plans are, but I want to make sure one doesn't enforce internet/monthly fees in order to work properly. The 3G model is the better value from what I understand (I believe it comes with a memory card), so I'm eying that one.
Anyone capable of dropping some simple knowledge on me about this thing, I'd appreciate it.

It comes with Little Deviants, Super Stardust Delta, 1 month of free 3G, and an 8 gig memory stick. There is NO CONTRACT for 3G. If you want it, you pay for it for the month that you want it. If you want another month, re-up your subscription. No tie-ins and and hastle.

Would any system updates down the line be hindered without 3G access, or could I get around that somehow? I vaguely recall uploading an update to my PSP via the PS3 when I had no wireless net access briefly. Not sure if this is still an option for the Vita. That really is a good deal on the 3G. All of that stuff for just $50 more is the smarter option for sure.

Do you need Att cause i have Tmobile so hows that work? No. The 3G for the Vita is in no way tied to a phone plan. It's pretty much, pay the $30 or the $15 - kinda like a monthly sub to Xbox Live or like Spotify Premium. Pay as you go.

Grr i see um i dunno if im gonna pay monthly not sure if ill do it for a psp. There is no auto-renew on it though either. So say u get it, and don't use all of it, it will expire but u won't be automatically charged again [as far as I know] And.....wooooo! We are officially less than 24 hours away from the release! I am expecting my tax card [hopefully] today and my tax return by Wednesday. I will be at GameStop directly at 10AM to get that thing provided I get both my card and return by then.
