Was shocked to hear that during the post fight show, but thought it was kind of funny Dana goes to all the trouble of getting the sudden victory round approved to prevent a draw and because of human error we still have a draw.

Breaking news from the post-fight presser: Johnson vs McCall was actually scored a DRAW! However the scores were read wrong in the cage, so the 4th rd didn't happen. Looks like Johnson/McCall will rematch soon determine who will fight Benavidez. Just saw this on facebook! Really hoping McCall wins the rematch cause I really want to see him and Benevidez for the belt. Havent seen the fights yet but im catching the replay at 1 so i will update with my thoughts on the card later on.

Couldn't believe the Kampmann comeback. The flyweights are going to be very enjoyable. McCall is going to be a good personality for the division

I agree with what Sonnen said in the post fight show McCall should have tried to finish the fight instead of playing to the crowd and judges. He could have finished the fight if he kept throwing punches instead of trying to show everyone he was winning.

That's crazy they messed that up and really, really screws up the flyweight picture, now Mouse/McCall have to fight again and Benavidez has to take an extended break to wait for that bout and then facing the winner. In this day I don't know how you can screw up something that bad.

Alves is so over-hyped. Glad Kampmann wonn. I can't remember a time Alves truly impressed me besides the Hughes fight. the WW division is so f***ing interesting right now. Fitch got KO'd, Kos looked like sh** in his last fight, GSP is injured... and meanwhile Condit is interim champion....Ellenberger, Hendricks, and Kampmann are all viable contenders for the belt. Things are starting to look fresh for the first time in years. ...but whoever is champ will just be warming up the belt until Diaz' suspension is up...

Looks like Johnson/McCall will rematch soon determine who will fight Benavidez. i could see it. one scored it for mouse, one scored it for creepy, and one probably gave the 3rd a 10-8 round to creepy, making it 28-28. i could also see this being dana thinking creepy won, and going with the fans who booed, and saying we need a more clear cut winner... and making this up as well. in any case... give them a 5 round main event fight on an fx or fuel card. june or july i guess? that should give them enough time to heal, and then train.

Yep then he'll loose the belt when he gets busted for smoking pot again.

I'm just amazed at how silly Alves looked. Had Kampmann hurt, but just HAD to go for the takedown.

Very reminiscent of that sh*tty takedown Hardy shot on Lytle. Granted Hardy was completely losing the fight up to that point anyways, unlike Alves who had easily 2 rounds.

just to add more fuel... evidently...
(29-28 Johnson, 29-29 and 28-28).
that was the scoring on the fight. im assuming one judge gave the 1st a 10-10 round, and the other gave mccall a 10-8 in the 3rd. i was quite certain when they read off the scores though... buffer announced 29-28 johnson, 29-28 mccall and then 29-28 johnson... meaning he misread two scores? or two scores were written down wrong? what a catastrophe.

It's an issue. But, it was confirmed to be a draw, so I'm not sure. But, I think the 10-10 was indeed scored by one of the judges.

Great sub by Kampmann - but Alves must be kicking himself for going for that late takedown... he had the fight won. Such a shame about the screw-up with the Johnson/McCall scoring - I'd have loved to see a sudden-death round. Hopefully they can do a rematch pretty quickly... I guess Benevidez will just have to wait it out(?).
