.. i have a moc and loose set of hasbros but you cant compare them to wwfs original wrestling superstars, i prefer ljns because they remind me of the best era of wrestling for me, the 80's.....even ted arcidi makes a great figure.

I'm going to choose Hasbro's because I remember playing with them alot more as a child then I did with the LJN's. I'm a huge fan of both lines though.

I have to give the nod to LJN. I had so many of those things back in the day

i grew up on Hasbro and Galoob, but god damnit i love LJNs. They just look, feel and are fantastic. They're big, they're fairly weighty, you know you've got something in an LJN.
Plus as mentioned before, they're from my fav era of wrestling. I may not have grown up on it, but watching tapes, DVDs, yotube, wrestling was quality in those days.

LJN's for me.
1. I played with them as a kid. When wrestling was wrestling. 2. The ONLY wrestling action figure line, in my mind, to get heights right!!!!! Andre the Giant is huge. Jimmy Hart is tiny! Why the rest of the makers of WWF/E figures can't get this right is beyond me. (yeah yeah, each mold needs to be custom, cuts cost, blah blah. have some pride!)
I actually have childhood memories around the figures....
- I lost $20 one day when going to the store to buy an LJN fig. My parents were FURIOUS that I lost it. I was SO upset. They bought me Corporal Kirchner after I learned my lesson. - I got a wood burning kit as a kid. Do they still even sell those? Anyway,t he only thing I used it for was to make stairs for my ring! - I also made my own bell out of cardboard and my own "Piper's Pit" backdrop for interviews. - My ring had tag ropes. - The posters were hung, with care, around my room and grouped into 'stables'. If a wrestler made a change, the wall was updated. - I was playng with them one day with my little brother and I got pissed because he was throwing them around a little too hard. A fight ensued. When my mom asked what was wrong, I said, "He's throwing them around too hard! Like this...." and I demonstrated. That's when the Iron Sheik's head put a HOLE in my closet door and wasn't damaged at all! THAT is an action figure my friend. Can a Hasbro (or Jakks) do that? I don't think so.
*sniff*
I love you LJNs.

I grew up with Hasbros. After breaking my ring a couple of times under the weight of King Kong Bundy, I was really leery to play with LJNs any more

I grew up with Hasbros am more of a 90's wrestling fan, they get my vote.
However, LJNs were also great. The simplicity of them was and still is the best feature of them (IMO).

My choice would be Hasbro because that is what I originally started with. I do have some LJN's and like them, but Hasbro is my favorite.

The WWF LJN series is the best wrestling figure series ever! Truer words never spoken. Amazing how the likenesses of LJN's are more accurate using simpler scuptling and molds/casting, than Jakks can get these days with head scan technology.

im picking LJNs because of there cartoon looks and packaging ...id say hasbro look more cartoonish, ljn are more accurate, i think hasbro packagings better featuring a pic of the wrestler on the front.

LJN's are probably more collectable and worth more money in general but for me it has to be Hasbro, I began collecting Hasbros with Jake Roberts and green trunks Ultimate Warrior. Still today I am trying to complete my collection, I still have some way to go but I'm over half way there for sure.

Well, my first figure was the Hasbro Big Boss Man, but I grew up playing with both. I've gotta pick Hasbro in the end, though. I'll never forget the day I got that Boss Man, and then I was finally allowed to play with the Macho Man and Ultimate Warrior figures my cousin had.
