Goodnight, Mir.
And it wouldn't be a UFC without a badass NickTheFace trailer [youtube]

I really wouldn't be so quick as to count Mir out. And this is coming from a generally Anti-Mir guy. Big Nog not only dazed Mir, but also almost put his lights out completely but made one mistake that lead to Mir winning.
Lesnar was all over Mir, and while he was very inexperienced at the time, he only made one mistake.
I'm no expert and I'm no fighter. Just saying though.

You've also got to remember that Mir was part of that list of fighters that could NOT make it out of the first round with Shane Carwin when he was undefeated at the time. I think if Carwin was able to dispose of Mir before the first round was out, then Junior should have absolutely no problem doing the exact same, if not worse. Especially if you take his quick, destructive win over Cain into consideration. If you are a betting man, you've gotta agree the smart money is on Junior in this one. However, ANYTHING can happen in MMA and Mir's last win was proof of that. I thought he was on the way out, but he hung in there and pulled out an incredible, brutal win over Big Nog. It'll be an interesting fight, to say the least and I for one, am very much looking forward to it. *Edit* My buddy just sent along the new UFC #146 poster. Here it is:

^ you're picking Bigfoot to upset Cain?
The only chance I give Mir is to get the fight on the ground... if he stays standing with Dos Santos, it could be over quickly.

Yup and I know I'm one of very few people that see that happening but I really don't know how Cain is going to look after the loss to JDS. Who knows maybe he switched up his training drastically (Probably not because he merely got caught but you never know we've seen weirder things in the UFC). And besides I'm a fan of the underdog and alot of people seem to be expecting Cain to win with no problem so I'd enjoy seeing the complete opposite honestly.

Damn, that nicktheface dude is just incredible. UFC should really hire that guy.
Forgot about the connection between Mir submitting Nog and Junior wanting revenge. Remember what happened to Cain when he Knocked out Nog then eventually fought Junior? Card looks great still.

Lavar must be in heaven, landing all these higher profile, great paying fights one right after the other. Not bad for a guy that came into the UFC on a losing streak. Good to see him take advantage of the opportunity quite nicely up to this point.
With that said, f*ckin' sucks that Hunt is out. Hope to see him back in there soon.

I think Lavar Johnson will knock Struve's head into the 10th row. Seriously though, he packs some pretty serious power in those huge hands of his and if he connects on Struve, I think "The Skyscraper" will crumble to the canvas.

Damn... I was really looking forward to Hunt/Struve. This card has had so many fights fall apart/re-arranged, it's unreal. It's still great though.
