Boxers are over paid, and the reason for that is because the Boxing game is corrupt and dirty as hell. And after listening to the UFC footage that ESPN didn't release I know for a fact the UFC fighters are paid more than well enough for what they do. If I had Rampage's money I'd be loving life, plus I've seen his house, it's amazing!
And honestly, if he has lost his love of fighting since the Forrest fight then he needs to piss off and stop taking a pay cheque. It's not that he has lost his passion, it's not that the UFC took it. It's just he refused to evolve and now he sucks compared to the new evolution of MMA fighter that is walking through the doors. The UFC didn't kill his passion, being Jon Jones bitch did if anything.
I enjoy Rampage's personality, I enjoy his fighting style of wanting to take someones head off. But this is just how I feel when he comes out with this bullcrap, and that's what it is, it's bullcrap. If you don't like being in the UFC or the sport, stop bitching and whining and leave.

Rampage needs to change his ing tampon. I swear, lately he's been acting like a 14 year old.

Can't blame it on the camp though (not saying you are), I mean Michael Bisping trains in the same camp and he does not get enough credit for how well rounded a guy he is. Blame it on him not wanting to evolve as a fighter. He's been doing the same crap he has always done, combined not evolving with age, you get this bitter old whiney version of Rampage. That being said, who was he training with prior to Wolfslair.

Rampage has always been this way, he's just been better at hiding it before. People used to find his, "I fight for money" comments funny, but now it's like -- okay Rampage, you're just being a ing douchebag now.

His performance against Henderson was AMAZING. I wish that Rampage was still around.

Guys like Rampage and Nick Diaz need to stop comparing themselves with top boxers (which neither are) and realize how good they actually have it in MMA... they're lucky MMA/the UFC has become as popular as it has - otherwise they would be getting paid WAY less.

He isn't a top star, as much as he thinks he is. He's lost two in a row, and only won half of his last 8 fights. He talks himself up as if he is on a 5 fight win streak or something.

I'm sorry, but I've had little to no faith in Rampage since he lost to Rashad. Have fun building your ego in other promotions fighting somewhat easier competition before one of them brings you back down to earth, Rampage.

I honestly think he needs to be knocked out. I'm talking Shogun hanging through the ropes style. Losses like that tend to humble guys weren't even big headed to begin with. I imagine it may do some good for a guy like him.

I imagine it may do some good for a guy like him. Exactly. I'm so sick of him blaming everyone else! First it was The A-Team, a movie!!! He blamed working on a movie for making him soft! Cause that makes sense. Now he's blaming the UFC, because he can no longer be passionate about fighting and a sport he loved. You're responsible for whether you want to show up to work and produce! Your employer is not! He needs to grow up.

Rampage Jackson Will Fight “Shogun” Rua In Farewell Bout UFC has announced their future plans for “Rampage” Jackson. It’s not an immediate release like he has been campaigning for, but the UFC has agreed to release Quinton “Rampage” Jackson after his last contracted bout. To send off the former champion will be none other than fellow former champ, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua. The two have reportedly agreed to square off at a yet to be determined event as announced just moments ago on “UFC Tonight” on FUEL TV. bjpenn.com/mmanews/2012/03/13/rampage-jackson-will-fight-shogun-rua-in-farewell-bout-16869.html

Cool... I was hoping it would be a rematch with Hendo but one with Shogun's good too. With either fight though, I don't think it will end well for Rampage...

If Rampage pulls of a win, I would be surprised to see his passion suddenly come back. >_>

That's a shame, as I'm a fan of Rampage, moreso due to his persona than his fighting ability though.

Rampage is STILL the man.
Personally, I think he's a little burned out. He's had over 40 PROFESSIONAL fights. That's a lot of fighting and a lot of miles on that body.
I hope he goes out with a big KO. I don't think he's going to be champion again, but I still find him an intriguing personality and quality fighter.
