Hey, I was wondering if anyone on here was going to/purchased tickets for the upcoming wrestle reunion tour in Toronto in April? I'm tempted to go because two of my favourites Roddy Piper and Rick Martel are going to be there. I'm afraid I'd mark out too hard though haha.

I am seriously thinking about heading down for this. I don't think it's too far from where I live, so I think I'll definitely make the trip down. I mean, some great legends are gonna be there like Bruno Sammartino, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Howard Finkel, Tito Santana, Rick Martel, Larry Zbyszko, Dominic Denucci, Nikita Koloff and on and on.
I'm just a bit confused as to how to buy and how much the autographs for each guest will cost. I guess you buy tickets for a certain Superstar's autograph, I'm not really sure. If so, I'm gonna be spending quite a bit because I've got a bunch of stuff I'd love to get signed.
I don't know if it'll be smarter to get a V.I.P. ticket for $199 or just spend whatever it might cost individually.
I also don't want to meet EVERYONE because I've already met some of the scheduled talent a few times over and have a bunch of autographs from them.
For example, I've already met and have autographs from Jimmy Hart, Rhyno, Tommy Dreamer, Maria, The Destroyer, The Honky Tonk Man, Sunny, Jushin Liger, and Howard Finkel.
I do have some extra items I want to get signed by Honky Tonk and Sunny though, so I'm willing to pay whatever they are charging.
I think I'll just pay whatever it costs individually because with Roddy Piper being there, I've got like 3 items for sure I want to get signed (WWF LJN MOC figure, WWF Hasbro MOC figure and WWF LJN poster) and apparenly to buy tickets just for him alone is $20, so those 3 items will be $60 right off the bat. I have no problem at all spending that much on Piper because he's one of my all-time favorites, I'm just saying at that rate it's going to add up QUICK!!!
But if you buy the V.I.P. ticket, he's not even included because he's a Vendor guest. NONE of the Vendor guests are included in the V.I.P. ticket package.
If you go with the V.I.P. package you can ONLY get 1 thing signed and get 1 photo-op with the V.I.P. guests. The wrestling events are also included, as is the special Titans in Toronto Breakfast.
I don't really care for the photo-op really, I'm just out to get my stuff signed and that's pretty much it. And as I said, I have more than 1 item for certain Superstars, so I think it'll be better to spend whatever it is individually.
Sorry for the long-ass rant there. I'm just really excited about meeting these wrestling legends I grew up watching, especially Piper, Martel, Sammartino, "Mean" Gene, Vader and Nikita Koloff.

^ its crazy expensive for everything.. VIP is the best bang for your buck for sure.. but i really dont want to meet over half of the ppl in VIP.. i could care less..
and im not a huge photo OP guy either...
id want to meet the LJN era guys like Bruno, Strike Force, Mean Gene and thats about it really...
and then also Piper, HTM and Sunny...
but say u wanted to get the Photo Op with Piper, Autograph of Piper and just that for your day, you would pay $20 for autograph, $25 for photo op and $20 to get into the place, general admission...thats $60 right there.. which is pretty crazy...

^btw.. the wrestling events and the breakfast are NOT included with VIP.. they r just priority seating.. thats it.. still gotta pay $25 for the wrestling event, $50 for the breakfast..
it just adds up way way too quick to make it worth the money for myself.. say i just wanted 1 autograph from everyone for example.... you are basically spending like $500 on the weekend for everything...i just think i can spend that $500 more wisely on other wrestling collectibles that i will cherish more...
the only thing i really really wanted was to see Bruno, since he is getting up there a lot in age.. and maybe Mean Gene.. but other than that, i can wait a little while for the other people..

^ Yeah, it'll add up quick for sure, especially for the stuff I want to get signed. Apparently, Sunny, Honky Tonk, DDP, and Nikita Koloff are all charging $15 for an autograph, which isn't too bad at all.
I've got 2 items for sure I want to get signed by Sunny. An old WWF Jakks figure and her classic "I want it Raw" t-shirt which is still in mint condition and never been worn.
And I've got 2 things I want Honky Tonk Man to sign which are his profile picture in the old WWF Superstars II magazine and his old WWF LJN poster.
You combine both of those and we are at $60 already, just for 2 guests and that's the tip of the iceberg. I want DDP to sign in my WWF WrestleMania X8 magazine on his page, so that's another $15 right there. Now were up to $75.
I've looked and looked, but I can't find anything good for Nikita Koloff to sign, so I'll just get something down there and that'll take us to about $90 with his autograph.
I DEFINITELY want to get Bruno Sammartino's autograph. I want him to sign my MOC WWE Classic figure and the old WWF LJN poster which is slightly ripped, but it's the one I've held onto since I was a kid.
I love getting those old WWF LJN posters signed and I'll also get "Mean" Gene Okerlund to sign his. I don't even know what the total is so far. I've lost count. Lol...
I'm sure I'll be taking out quite a bit from the bank, but I think it'll be worth it. This is like a once-in-a-lifetime meeting some of these Legends. After this, I don't think I'll meet Bruno Sammartino again, so I might as well meet him while I can.
He's pretty much the reason I am going down. Him, Piper and Sunny are the ones I am mainly looking forward to.
And I've looked at the schedule and all of the main signings are taking place on Saturday. I'll want to head down there early just in case I see any of them walking around or whatever, maybe I can snag a free picture or autograph. You never know...

Ah, for f*ck sakes....Apparently Sunny has been cancelled by American Icon Autographs. I just read about it on the Wrestlereunion site. Damn....I was really looking forward to meeting her and getting some stuff signed. Oh well, gotta wait for another time, I suppose.
I wonder what the reason for her cancelling was....I'm sure it was something important...

^ Yeah, but it'll be money well spent, in my opinion. I'm gonna be spending a hell of a lot more than $150 for sure and I'm perfectly fine with that. To me, this is like a dream come true by meeting all these legends in wrestling that I grew up watching.
Where else can you meet all these guys at the same time?? NOWHERE!!
I can't wait!! I'm really excited to meet these guys and get a bunch of stuff signed. I got lots of action figures and LJN posters and classic magazines. I'm really looking forward to this. Should be a great time.

Had a GREAT time at WrestleReunion yesterday. I arrived early at like 8:40 or so and then walked around for a bit looking at the vendors booths and various merch for sale. I didn't buy anything really. I then got in line-up to get my tickets for the wrestling show later that night, as well as my autograph tickets. I had to visit the registration booth a few times, lol. As I said in an earlier post, I spent quite a bit, but it was WELL worth every penny. I spent the most on "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and it was a true pleasure meeting him. He was THE nicest wrestler I've ever met so far and I've met a TON over the years, but Piper was a true class act. I got to shake his hand and pull him in for a hug, man, that was awesome!! He's an icon and a true wrestling legend. If you guys every get the chance to meet him, please, do NOT pass that rare opportunity up. I'm sure you'll thank me later. I got a bunch of figures signed by Piper, I also met Nikita Koloff, Diamond Dallas Page, The Honky Tonk Man, Raven, Bill Apter, Necro Butcher, Big Van Vader, J.J. Dillon, Scott Steiner, Tito Santana, Rick Martel, Fit Finlay, "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Howard Finkel, Shane Douglas, and finally, Bruno Sammartino. I didn't bother with meeting Maria, Jimmy Hart, Rhino, Tommy Dreamer, or Jushin "Thunder" Liger as I have met them before. I also passed up on meeting D.H. Smith, Dominick Denucci and Miss Tessmacher. I thought she was a stuck-up c*nt, just the way she was acting, like she was better than everyone or somethin'. I would NEVER waste the time or money on her. She ain't worth it, no matter how good looking she may be. She's too ing skinny, in my opinion. Need to put some meat on her freakin' bones. The wrestling show later that night was great!! I loved it. Overall, WrestleReunion was a great time. I hope they plan on returning next year because I'll be going again!!

^ looks like u had a really fun day... i guess that thing from the Toy show April 1st, where the guy from Dr. Fleas said Powers of Pain were going to be there in May isnt going to happen.. havent heard anything at all about it anywhere It's funny you mention that because I actually ran into Andrew Goodwin at WrestleReunion and asked him about that. He said that signing with Powers of Pain got pushed back to a later date. But now, he's saying The Mountie and Papa Shango will be appearing at Dr. Flea's. I can't remember the exact dates he told me. I think he said July 9th maybe, so I'm not exactly sure. Just keep posted to either the upcoming autographs page on www.wrestlingfigs.com or Dr. Flea's site www.drfleas.com/toronto/index.shtmlI really hope what he's saying is true because I'd love to meet both The Mountie and Papa Shango!! That would be awesome.
