That certainly is unfortunately but I highly doubt someone is so crafty that they were able to open the box without any ware or any sign that it was open, steal the glasses and the jacket then seal the box with the Edge inside perfectly. I'm starting to thing these are more or likely return figures and the workers are to lackadaisical to put the figures in the right boxes if they are available to them.

Eh, the jacket sucks. I'll gladly send mine to whoever wants it because I put my Jakks fabric jacket on it. i completely agree the plastic jackets are terrible in quality but excellent in artistic I feel the same way. The detail on them are amazing, but the flexibility of them is terrible!

When will people on this website learn to stop buying stuff from K-Mart, or wherever. Just use the damn internet. Is shipping really that much to you? I doubt it, seeing as the dollar is so low these days.

I would have totally bought that. The glasses and jacket are useless to me.

At least that's the right Edge...better than switcheroos...but still bad people stole his accessories.

I remember seeing old ToyBiz Marvel Legends figures that had been swapped or had parts taken from them. The plastic bubble won't stop them

if you don't care for the accessories, i'm sure the store will give you some type of discount... i've seen tru mark down an elite dibiase without the belt for like $8.70... if i didn't have him yet i would've picked him up...

I like the plastic packaging idea but unfortunately that wont happen and if it was then be ready to pay $20 plus for figures!!! you guys in the USA are lucky in Australia basics cost 21 usd while elites used to cost 32 usd battle packs cost 54 usd Flexforces are 18 19 usd and rumblers are 10 usd I wish they cost the same price they do in the Good Ol USA I am surprised I have not seen 1 switcharoo in my life!! And I frequently go to toy stores..

I doubt it, seeing as the dollar is so low these days. You know what you are absolutley right, but I never see these figures at Walmart.com, Target.com, and TRU.com so how am I buything these. Kmart.com goes by a "book value" other websites like RSC, spamS, or spam are way too high priced. Nothing beats retail because it is truly the lowest price possible. I would love to convert to on-line only, but I am not going to spend $50 for Booker T when I still have the possibility of getting for $16.99. I bought DM Macho Man, and L4 Warrior from RSC and they were both over priced. If I knew then what I knew now I wouldn't have because both those figure were well abundant in my area and the only value I got out of that purchase was that I got them a month before retail did. There is just no way to predict how hard certain figures are to come by but as long as there is a chance people are going to want to buy at local stores.

Everyone knows Mattel won't do anything about the packaging. This has become an epidemic. Posting about switching only encourages it even more

Fortunatly that sort of thing doesn't really fly around my part of the world. I haven't come across any switches but I have seen several people attempt to return switches.
I would be sad if a little kid got one of those for his birthday. You have to be a real jerk to do that. I mean if you are going to steal it then do it in the store or whatever but don't try to screw over some poor kid who is eventually going to get one of these for Christmas or his birthday etc.

I am against bubbled packaging.
It looks cheap, it dents easily and it won't solve the problem if a thief has some basic stamp equipment.
I like the Elite and Basic carding. It is very vibrant and nice.
Although I find it a bit odd that Mattel will secure their Lalaloopsy dolls with INSANE amounts of wire, tape etc. and not do a thing for their wrestling figures. The Lalaloopsy packaging is really pretty and nice looking and those figures are so secure at the same time. Surely there must be a best of both worlds for WWE figures.

Changing the packaging won't do anything imo. I've seen elite boxs with box cutters taken to them to steal belts mostly(My K-Mart had about four elite drews all with their IC titles cut out). i would blame kids but i really don't think its kids doing it.
