I have Jones 3-0. Evans needs to finish.

Wasn't the greatest fight, but wasn't the worst.

Congrats to "Bones" for defending his belt once again.

Tough fight for both. Rashad never found his range and Jones looked sloppy. But I couldn't knock either one of them out so who am I to criticize. Rory McDonald is going places tonight belongs to him.

50-46 bones... bring on hendo, then bring on the heavyweights (or anderson) ^ I don't think Anderson wants to fight him (...can't say I blame him!) - Hendo is the only logical choice... I don't think he'd beat Jones, but with his great chin and if he could land an H-bomb or two, he could make it very interesting. If he did beat Henderson, then Jones really will have cleaned out the division. I'm so pleased Yagin/Hominick got Fight Of The Night... it was a great fight, really fun to watch - I think a draw would have been fair... the second round was really tough to score. And Rory MacDonald looked amazing... I'd love to see him and Condit or Diaz.

I hate when people make it seem like Anderson doesn't want to fight him because he is scared....
Anderson AND Jones have both said they have no interest in fighting each other....
with that being said I was impressed with Rashad...and Jones is a f***ing beast...still not a fan though...
Rory WILL BE champ by 2013.

I hate when people make it seem like Anderson doesn't want to fight him because he is scared.... Don't get me wrong - I wasn't implying that he's scared (I hate it when people say that too!)... it's just he's just publicly said that he thinks Jones is too big and the size difference would be too much. I have no problem at all with it - it's a bit like all the people who say GSP is "scared" to fight Silva, when GSP has said (time and again) that it would be a big move he would need to build/bulk-up a lot first... sometimes it's just common sense to stay in the division you're in.

Good fight, I cannot believe that Evans didn't try and take this to the ground more, absolutely applaud, Evans had the best chance of beating Jones and didn't take it. But Evans did last all 5 rounds which was awesome, they both looked great, hope we get a rematch down the line.
This fight answered alot of questions I had about Jones, I've met the guy, I've gotten to pray with him, he's super awesome as a person. In the fight he threw some elbows, I'm glad to see he doesn't have much knock out power in his fist, but he does have great stamina, great cardio, great endurance, he is the real deal. Stoked to see where he goes from here.

^ looks like he's fighting Dan Henderson. You have to favor Jones - but I wouldn't put anything past Hendo... Should be fun. * After beating four consecutive UFC champions, the road will not get any easier for current light-heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones. The 24-year-old star's next opponent will be multi-time, multi-division champion Dan Henderson, according to UFC president Dana White, who confirmed the pairing shortly after Jones topped Rashad Evans at UFC 145. White didn't have a timetable for the fight's scheduling, but said UFC 149 in Calgary could be a possibility.

Evans really had nothing for him, just like everyone else.
I really respect Hendo, but I really DON'T want to see him get beat down on by Jones. It's been clear that I'm a HUGE Hendo fan, but I believe Jones will be the first guy to finish him with strikes.
However, if ANYONE can end a fight with one punch, it's Hendo. And, IF (that's a big IF!) Hendo can win the title, I'll be ranking him as the GOAT.

Oh, and maybe NOW Torres can realize that the division is NOT how it was when he dominated years ago. He was considered a P4P best when he was beating no-names in a weak division. Nothing personal against him, but I hope that KO loss will make him realize he needs to switch a few things up to keep in tune with these new guys.

He needs to go back to what was working for him. When he lost his first fight, he went and changed everything which was his mistake in the first place. There's nothing wrong with wanting to evolve but to change everything because of 1 fight is absurd. You stick with what was working and add new elements to your repertoire.
