Miz's character needs to change equally as much as people cry for John Cena's character to change.
Miz needs to turn face - have you see this guy on late night talk shows? He's got as much charisma as the Rock but can't let it shine because he has to keep up his screw-face heel gimmick. It's sad because I bet half WF would be on that bandwagon if he was a face.

I've never liked him, and never will see him as anything more than Jobber level. If he tried to get in the company 10-15 years ago, he'd be putting Barry Horrowitz over. Zero talent, zero crediblity, zero charisma, zero mic skills, zero moveset. Out of everyone employed in the company today, two people who need firing more than anyone else are The Miz and Wade Barrett, but even Barrett isn't as bad as The Miz. They should give him a new gimmick if they decide to keep him. Whereas CM Punk is "Best in the world", Miz needs to be "Even Less Talent Than Flair".

Wait... he's going to main event Survivor Series and TLC as the United States Champion?

I like The Miz. He has something special. Him winning the US Title would just be a step back. Theres nothing he can do to help the division. I disagree, Santino with the belt is great, but having the title on a former world champion will come in handy when it comes to giving some new talent coming through a push. If someone debuts and takes the title off Santino, it's upsetting for his fans, but not a massive supprise/upset. If someone like Cesaro were to show up on the Raw brand, take the title off the former world champ, that says a little more in my book. But yeah, I do see the Miz main eventing again, he's got a little lack luster, but i'm sure that's just because they don't have alot for him to do as it is, when he has a programme he goes full on into it.

Miz is a great mid to upper midcard talent. I think they tried really hard to make him work at the next level, but imo, I don't think it worked. Miz can talk, he's obnoxious, and he can get a reaction, but he is still very limited in-ring, and I very much believe he lacks some degree of "it" as a top talent.
That being said, Miz, a former WWE Champion, being the US Champion does help that title. Especially, if they want to put over an up and coming face by having him beat Miz. I honestly think Miz is lightyears better for that title than Santino. However, bringing something to the title all comes down to the guy and how he is used. Ziggler was one of the best US Champions we have seen in years imo, but after he lost the title all the importance immediately went out the window because they didn't do anything with Ryder, Swagger, or Santino. Some of that had to do with how the guy carries himself as a champion but a lot has to do with how they use the guy. I believe Miz will be used better than the three previous champions, which is good for the title.
I have no problem with Miz being around the IC or US title. I think it's a good way to use him and I think it would be great to use him to elevate midcard talent. I think a Miz vs Ryder feud would be great, or Miz vs Kofi. I really want to see Seth Rollins debut and go right after Miz. Lots of opportunity there imo.

I think that if he wins the title it might rejuvenate his career. However, I don't want him to main event as imo he isn't good enough or has the right look.

I certainly hope he never comes near the WWE Title again. Every single time I glance at the cover for the WM27 Blu-ray, I literally cringe because he has the belt. I really want to see Miz as champ again

Santino currently has the U.S Title.....before him it was Jack Swagger and Zack Ryder. Nobody was talking about those men using U.S Title as a stepping stone to get the WWE title.
Let's face it.....Miz is not as marketable as WWE thought. They took a chance on him, Wrestlemania 27 bombed, and he's been nowhere near anything important since, except for him and R-Truth getting fed to John Cena and The Rock at Survivor Series.
The Miz is in a United States Championship match this Sunday, which I believe is going to be broadcast for free on YouTube. This should show you exactly where Miz's place in WWE is right now. If WWE had any long term plans for Miz, or Santino for that matter, this match would be on the actual PPV.

The Miz just needs to lose by DQ this Sunday. This way he doesn't look weak and isn't taking a step back as US Champion.

If it's the biggest push Miz can get right now, I'm all for it, but I hope WWE has bigger plans for him than this. He's probably going to be on the back burner while Jericho and Brock are the main event heels, but with Jericho's exit looming I am hoping Miz gets back into the thick of things by summer or fall.

The fact they let him get his lost in the shuffle is a testament at how awful WWE creative is. Guy is over, he has a huge fan base, and even people that don't give a flying about WWE know who he is. That being said I don't see him being the WWE champ again with Brock, Rock, and Jericho around for a while. If anything he needs to go to smackdown he's certainly a big enough name to feud with the likes of Sheamus and Bryan. As for the genius that said he wasn't likable enough as a person to get over as a face? You're totally kidding yourself, I've personally stood in a line of over 400 people to meet the guy so people certainly like him.

The Miz just needs to lose by DQ this Sunday. This way he doesn't look weak and isn't taking a step back as US Champion. That is a great idea. If Miz loses by DQ they can try and put him back into the role he had a t the end of last year which was right up in the main-event, when he was taking out everybody. Either Miz loses by DQ or he wins the belt. If Santino wins cleanly, I will literally riot.

Only way Miz can even be a contender for a World Championship again is if he's moved over to SmackDown. As big of a fan of him as I am, there's no way he'll come close to main event status once again on RAW at this point.
