I had a huge trampoline back in 04 to 05 when I was around 12/13. I believe it was around 20 feet long and it had no net. (nets are for pussies)
I loved the thing and used to play and chill on it all the time after school and on weekends. I was quite popular with the neighbour kids because of my trampoline and I had some fun wrestling matches with it. I'de probably be really rusty if I went on one now but back then I could do all sorts of back flips and front flips and even land on my feet while doing them.

Trampolines are the crap. I gotta go with no net ones being the best. And I can do pretty much anything on the trampoline if it's bouncy enough.

No. Let's not. I'm a 21 Year old man and have never had a Trampoline in my life. Maybe it's because I had a PlayStation. Wow dude I wish I was like you. Nah, just kidding. I had a PlayStation and a trampoline. I rule. Anyway, I guess the net could be fun if you want to knock yourself into it or whatever, do cage matches, etc. In my time, I've gone through three giant-sized trampolines. I can front flip, corkscrew, all sorts of stuff. We started a backyard fed and it got pretty popular. Made the trampoline into a make-shift ring, and pretty much built an arena around the trampoline, all in our backyard. We'd set up shows all the time and people would come out to see us. I kinda miss it. Without having that trampoline, I would not be able to balance as well as I do and I certainly wouldn't be as good as I am on my feet. Also really helped me slim down in my teen years, because I would spend hours on it practicing wrestling moves and all sorts of acrobatic stuff.

It's all fun and games until somebody snaps their leg in half. I've never fallen off unless it was to get thrown off during a match, in which case I'd fall on my back. It's easy to not fall off if you stay in the center and know where you are at all times. However, I have had stupid friends come over and jump up on it like they know exactly what they're doing, and disregard anything I tell them. One went foot first through the spring. Another friend was standing on the edge, lost his balance, and tumbled off. Another attempted some sort of flip (to this day I don't know what the hell she was trying to do) - - The momentum sent her flying backwards, off the trampoline, and onto her back. Another friend broke our first trampoline by falling through it (it was very old, worn in, and busting at the seams). And my best friend at the time attempted some crazy front flip cartwheel thing, overshot it, jumped right off and broke his wrist. That was fun night, carrying him into the emergency room.

This man has a trampoline. But in all seriousness, I snapped my left arm humerus bone in half and required metal plate and screws. Thanks bad weather, precipitation and an obese "friend" for making the trampoline dangerous. End product:

I grew up on a trampoline, I swear about 65% of my childhood was spent on a trampoline. I could do pretty much anything on the trampoline flipwise, which attribute to why I was successful in diving in high school and why I had a 46" vertical jump so being a 6' tall white guy dunking in basketball games in high school was pretty cool haha Now I can't jump on one for very long, I can still do all the flips and what not but it get a headache after 5 or so minutes of being on it

I don't do any tricks. I just stay fit. You never know when your next match is going to be.

A neighbor had one when I was growing up and we used it a lot. I have to say, no net. When I was little they didn't make nets. You were expected to know where the hell you are on the thing and if you fell off, it was your own damn fault.

Interesting that you had to carry someone with a broken wrist into the ER. Isn't it? He didn't want to get up or move so we picked him up and helped him. I wasn't going to make him get up and walk on his own - - He was sobbing uncontrollably.

BTW Guys, anyone here into tumbling? If you loved trampolines then tumbling is for you. I love it, but then again trampolines are my favourite thing in the world. Unfortunately theres no good gyms within 5 hours from me, though. BTW, nets tend to make the trampoline less bouncy. nets BTW Guys, check this out Triple frontflip on a garden trampoline?
