As I said before, I get Cena/Rock, Cena/Lesnar closing the shows, but Cena/Big Johnny, Cena/Big Show should not. Let Punk and Bryan have a go at being the last match.

Makes sense I guess. Though I don't really feel Big Show should be main eventing, maybe they will go for some sort of twist/angle in the story to end the show. Punk vs Bryan will be a fantastic match though, worthy of main eventing any building in the world.

That's fine. WWE keeps doing it, I keep not buying PPVs. I can't stand Big Show, and this whole angle is atrocious imo. I honestly would love to see what the show would be like without Cena for 6-10 months.

Whether anyone likes it or not, Cena sells tickets. Which is the same reason Hogan main evented for all those years.

Another PPV where the major titles are nowhere near the main event, what a shocker. Yes because 2 matches till the main event is "nowhere near" Idiot

I don't really care if the title matches main event, as long as they are entertaining. I enjoyed the hell out of both championship matches at Over The Limit.

I'm not happy about him being in a crap main event for the second PPV in a row (and the 3rd this year including Kane), but don't act like Cena is preventing you from enjoying everything else going on in WWE.

It probably has something to do with him being the biggest active wrestling star in the world.

Why are people so shocked when the face of the company main events every show?

This has been happening for a long time. Get over it.
Until Cena is gone or isn't the biggest name in the WWE, it'll stay this way.
Although I do see him out of the main-event when Lesnar/Triple H happens.

You can't have the guy that will be headlining Wrestlemania in one of the biggest matches of all time, not maineventing the PPV leading into WM. Also, Cena vs Kane was the biggest story in the WWE at the time, so it makes sense that the blowoff of that feud would occur last. As for Cena vs Show not meaning anything, and not warranting the mainevent spot on No Way Out that is far from the truth. This is the followup to the last PPV's mainevent, and also the biggest story in the WWE. To each his own, but I completely disagree. It was unnecessary for Cena to main event the final Pay-Per-View heading into Wrestlemania. Just because you're involved in one of the biggest matches of all time at one show, doesn't automatically mean you're also the most important player in every other show. Cena and Kane's rivalry was flat, and it was made completely clear that they were just buying time until The Rock showed up. The crowd picked up on it, and they weren't buying into it. Both Elimination Chamber matches had significant implications on the Wrestlemania title matches. It was obvious that Cena/Rock was going to main event Wrestlemania at that point (and rightfully so), Elimination Chamber should have been the opportunity to put the Championships at the forefront and start the journey to Wrestlemania. The only way I could possibly agree with Cena/Kane main eventing that show is if The Rock had been there, and got involved with Cena after the match was over. As for Show/Cena, I stand by my statement that it means absolutely nothing. Big Show screwed Cena, Cena is angry, the end. That, to me, doesn't qualify as a main event. It's a grudge match, fine. It has every right to be on the card, but without some major stipulation with huge implications, I don't think it has any business being the main event. No matter who wins, the WWE will be exactly the same on Monday night. Barring some major return, interference, or debut, there's no way to end that match and send people home really thinking "oh man, I can't wait to see what happens on Raw tomorrow night". I'm not saying that that's guaranteed to happen with a title match, either, and it's fine if not every show has one of those moments or one of those matches. In those cases, I think a title match should go on last. The crowd at Over the Limit proved that WWE fans are evolving and truly appreciating great wrestling. If we get the Punk/Bryan rematch that it appears we may, I think that is the best choice to main event the show. Loyal WWE fans will order the PPV's regardless, but the casual fans will not pay to see 55 bucks to see Punk defend the WWE Title to a guy like Daniel Bryan who must have been touched by an angel for the fortune he has fallen into.

The fact that Cena/Laurinaitis main evented OTL made me sick. Why they are again putting Cena in the main event over Punk and Bryan is beyond me. WWE is so stupid sometimes...

Cena is the biggest star in wrestling as far as getting fans goes. Punk is the best wrestler on the roster and will put on the best match of the night whenever he wrestles.
It's just like Hogan/Savage. Hogan was the biggest star in the world and he main evented to bring in the fans but all the while Savage was having better matches. That's not saying Savage or Punk don't/didn't draw money but they aren't on the levels of Cena/Hogan as far as mainstream celebrity.

Why does WWE keep sticking Cena in the main event? Same reason WWE kept sticking Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold and The Rock in the main events. He's their biggest star, and he absolutely should be closing the shows. They're not going to put Cena in the midcard and make Curt Hawkins vs Justin Gabriel a PPV main event just to make some Internet masturbators happy.

But when you have two World Titles, and have them defended in the middle of the show and have some random thrown together feud main eventing, it makes WWE look like a freaking joke. The WWE Title, which has been in existence sine 1963, has about as much value as the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Title unless it's on John Cena.

OK, so Brock / Cena was the right choice to end the show. But not putting Punk last and opting for a comedy match with the most predictable ending ever to end a PPV was a huge joke and a slap in my face. I get the PPV free in England - but if I were an American paying for that I would be insulted as a customer.

This is why I detest John Cena. Yeah, thankfully he hasn't been champion or involved in any title matches, but the er is still main eventing. It's really annoying.
