10) Mexico City Heritage- 6 / 11 / 2 / 0 / 9Washington Kings still sit on top of First Division thanks to some great work from captain Triple H and teammates Wade Barrett and reserve Antonio Cesaro. However, they have suffered their first two losses which can be blamed on Drew McIntrye. Chicago has climbed a spot to take second place ahead of New York which includes inspirational captain John Cena. Dallas Crush are still in fourth place, they looked to be in a top three spot but captain The Big Show suffered a big loss to Triple H. Los Angeles have dropped a place from their previous fifth place, so Philly Riot has moved up to fifth after some all round good performances. Atlanta remains in seventh which they will be hoping to improve on. Toronto will be happy to have moved up from the bottom place and out of the drop zone. Currently on the bottom places are Miami and Mexico City respectively, the first of which just picked up their third win to rise above Heritage.

Thunder have jumped into the second placed mainly due to captain Jack Swagger. Detroit have been the most improved team, moving from one place off the bottom to third place. Seth Rollins’ Wizards stay in fourth place. Vegas have taken a dip in their league performances, mainly due to two suspensions. Reapers have fallen one place to sixth but that’s not the fault of their Knock-Out Specialist Kassius Ohno. Spiders have also fallen one place after only picking up one more win. Scorpions are still in a dangerous position in bottom place but have managed to get their campaign started with two wins.

Out of the RingBREAKING NEWSBryon Saxton drops out of the Phoenix Scorpions. Saxton has decided to leave the league in order to pursue a career outside the ring as a commentator. As a result the Phoenix Scorpions have a spare position. Due to the circumstances the Scorpions are allowed to replace Saxton with any other competitor as long as they are willing to join, in the same wage bracket and haven’t represented a team.
BREAKING NEWSThe Phoenix Scorpions have agreed a deal with Darren Young to join the team active immediately. Young was formerly a member of Premiership team Mexico City Heritage. However, since Young is in the same wage bracket and hasn’t represented his team he was allowed to join the Second Division team. A spokesperson for the Scorpions said that Young decided to step down a division in order to compete more. This now leaves Mexico City Heritage with a blank space for a reserve member, it will likely be Michael McGillicutty who was strangely left out of the teams in the original draft.
BREAKING NEWSMexico City Heritage have signed Michael McGillicutty as a reserve member to join the team active immediately. McGillicutty was left out of the original draft of the teams but returned recently to the reserve list. This seemed to be another reason why Bryon Saxton was originally allowed to leave his team. McGillicutty has a good chance of making it into the first team since Mason Ryan has been underperforming. However, for now McGillicutty remains as the reserve member of Mexico City.

The WFigs Committee made an announcement over the Cena/Orton situation. Randy Orton had put in a complaint about the decision made in the match. However, the Committee said they will stand by the decision made by the referee in the match so the win remains for Cena’s team New York Rangers. Furthermore, the WFigs Committee have fined both John Cena and Randy Orton for their unsportsmanlike actions. Orton gets the bigger fine with Cena getting a lesser fine. A warning has been issued to both men, any further actions by the accused will be punished by suspension pending the Committee’s decision.
The WFigs Committee have announced that Las Vegas Stars member Johnny Curtis has been suspended for his actions. Curtis will serve a three match suspension for attacking Derrick Bateman post match. Las Vegas Stars have also been fined for their members actions. This is the second suspension Las Vegas have committed since Ryback has previously been suspended. The Committee said that any further actions by Curtis will result in a longer suspension, bigger fine and possibly a point’s deduction pending the Committee’s decision. Las Vegas has been assigned another reserve competitor, Aiden English. Meanwhile, Ryback will return from suspension at the next show. In the same incident, Indianapolis Thunder’s Derrick Bateman has been fined for his reaction to Curtis’ post match actions. Any further actions by Bateman may result in a suspension pending the Committee’s decision.
We Speak to... Wade BarrettExtracts from an exclusive interview with Washington Kings’ Wade Barrett
Q: How did you feel when you first heard what team you were in?
Wade Barrett: I was excited, to get the chance to team alongside a legend like Triple H is a huge honour. I know both McIntyre and Cesaro well so it’s a good team for me.
Q: What kind of leader is your captain Triple H?
WB: A strict one (laughs). (Triple) H is a great dominant captain. He won’t take anything other than a loss.
Q: We saw that with Drew McIntrye after he seemed to cost the team a match in tag action, what are your thoughts on that?
WB: Well I know (Triple) H wasn’t happy about it, he only wants to win and extend our lead on the table. So that was a setback for us. With Cesaro in the reserves McIntrye knows he is going to have to improve or he might get replaced.
Q: You’re on top of the top performers list alongside John Cena at 5 Wins, 0 Losses. How do you feel about your start so far?
WB: Well it’s been fantastic thus far. I couldn’t have asked for a better start. I know that I have to do well with Cesaro in the reserves. With someone like Triple H as captain too, he’s always giving me tips and advice on how to improve.
Q: How long do you think you can keep this (your win/loss record) up for?
WB: Hopefully all season. There’s a lot of pressure on us (Washington Kings) to perform well. The owners want a top finish, our manager KvE wants a top finish and Triple H is barking at us to get a top finish. So there’s a lot of expectation and I think I can rise to it.
