If Ringside could would anyone like to see them continue the legends line with newer faces so we can finish our factions and get managers.
wave 1 could be

I would freak out for an Additude era line, even though that's extreme wish ful thinking. But there were so many colofrul characters during that time period and the amount of people who watched back then was 3X more than now so I don't know why they didn't integrate more of that time period into their legends series in the first place. I bet it woupldve sold a lot better.

Since there's an Attitude Era mode in WWE'13 it'd be cool if Mattel did one series to go with it.

The risk on never being able to sell enough units is way too high for an idea like this.

Since I would assume "big names" like Hogan/Flair/Sting would sell on matty, I would go for the lesser known guys on RSC.
Series 1 (4 figs per series) -Barry Windham (ponytail, beard, black trunks) -Magnum TA (L7 figure) -Jim Neidhart (Hart Foundation faction attire) -Bobby Heenan
Series 2 (4 figures) -Honky Tonk Man -King Harley Race -Haku -Jimmy Hart
Series 3 (4 figures) -Greg Valentine -Earthquake -Typhoon/Tugboat -Slick
Series 4 (4 figures) -Big John Studd -Lex Luger -Ted DiBiase -Virgil
Now these wouldnt "complete" factions/sets but they'd make one hell of a dent in them. You'd get almost all the big names for the Heenan Family as well as Jimmy Harts guys. You also complete the Hart Foundation (as much as possible) and add to the Horsemen as well as Dusty's team. They could release a new 4 figure set every 3 months and have them all out in a year. By doing this, you also free up Flashback series for younger fans so they can get their Attitude Era type stuff and also it relieves a "classic-tude" to the Voting as guys like Tito Santana or Demolition Crush stand more of a chance of getting a figure then.

I'm fairly certain Ringside would decline offering any exclusive Virgil figure.

Ringside doesn't take any chances with their exclusives. They have all been big names and I think Matty's offerings have been more obscure and hard to sell.

Let's face it....It ain't going to happen!
I don't think Mattel has any confidence in Legends. Most fans from that time period have been pushed away by WWEs current day product.
I wish that it wasn't true but it is. 85to2002 had great characters and attires I'd love to get but it seems Mattels going to use up who they have signed then cut there loss's.
I'd love to be proved wrong!

What They should do is make a lineup exclusive to them. Have it go up for preorder and if enough orders are filled make them,if not refund the people who ordered. Some football team did this with bobble heads. They weren't sure if it would sell so they put it up and if it got say 5,000 pre orders it went threw.

Didn't Matty.com do the same with DC Universe Infinite earths subscription aswell? Never knew about Magnum TA until rumours of his figure were about but I did my research. I have to say the figure is unbelivably accurate....it's fantastic work by Mattel!
