Dixie sent me a direct message on Twitter, as I asked her about what would happen with Sabin's contract come August, and she said he was already re-signed. So at least there is some silver lining in all of this I suppose... I was pretty nervous they would just let his contract expire while he was injured.

He needs to change up his wrestling style a bit more when he comes back.
We can hate all we want on Dixie but if she really reupped his contract and is planning on honoring it then Sabin is one LUCKY man.
I say let him heal and take his time. Hopefully he keeps his spirits up and refocuses himself on his way back.

No, she doesn't. Which is weird because I didn't think you could DM someone. I tweeted her publicly and she responded to me with direct message. When I tried to respond to the DM, it told me I couldn't. So I just tweeted her back thank you publicly again. Not sure how that works or if she just followed me temporarily to send me the message? No clue, but here is what I said and what she wrote back:

No way is it time for him to hang it up. He's easily talented enough to perhaps tone down the pace a little and still outwork the majority of the roster. Good to see he's signed, too.

I finally got around to watching the Ultimate X Match.. man, Zema Ion is a curse. That's two wrestlers now that had direct interactions with him that are out for an extended amount of time. He could use it as a gimmick. "The X-Division Killer" Zema Ion.

Its definitely NOT time for him to "hang 'em up". He's still fairly young, but he might just have to change up his style. Most guys do as their careers progress.

For 's sake. I can't imagine how angry he must be with his body. And on such a throw away match as well!

Not that there is ever a good time for something like this to happen, but this was just bad timing.

He constantly, and I mean constantly has been injured. Two STRAIGHT injuries in two straight years is just insane. The guy wrestles one match, gets injured. Then he returns - wrestles 5 matches and gets injured again. It's like Kevin Nash in 2002-2003-2004. Just makes it hard for me to watch. Before he could rely on Alex Shelley, but now he is gone too. Besides the elbow and quad injuries in 2002 Nash wasn't hurt in 2003 and 2004.

I missed that, I was under the assumption that Shelley and Sabin were still under the same deal, meaning their contracts were up at the same time.

I think Shelley will be back, the updates on his Twitter although do not seem to show him going anywhere at this exact moment in time.

I think Shelley will be back, the updates on his Twitter although do not seem to show him going anywhere at this exact moment in time. I personally hope so. I'm just not going to get to watch him in Japan and I think he will be trapped in FCW hell with WWE. Bring him back, let him cut promos, and have great matches, and be the star of the X-Division. Then when Sabin comes back they can have an insane series of matches together.
