its funny how after hiokis last win, for about 3 minutes he was being touted as next in line. now hes not even on the main card of an fx show.

Supposedly, UFC wanted to give him the title shot, but he said he wanted more "octagon experience", so he decided on taking another fight.

If Guida wins, he's in a tough spot. He's already beaten the 2 guys in line supposedly ahead of him(Pettis and Diaz) and took the champ to a really close decision. Naturally, he should get the shot...
But all in all, sadly I see Gray edging him out in this one.
Hairgate is really stupid though. I mean cmon. You'd think the hair in the face/eyes would hurt Guida more since it would be harder for him to see with that mop in his face

I still dont see how Pettis beating Lauzon gets him a title shot.

funch looks much stronger over a guy dropping down from 185. round 1 was kinda choppy on my facebook jobby here, but round 2 was pretty clearly funch's round. id have leaned funch in round 1 too, but a couple good shots, judging on florian and aniks reactions, for miller were chopped out, so i cant judge it.

nice guillotine for danny. he was working for it the entire fight. i thought he had funch dazed earlier in the round and couldve finished him, but went for the clinch instead. then funch took him down, to make scoring even more enjoyable. good win for miller regardless.

close round 1, 10-9 ramos... the striking was about even, maybe a nudge to brown, but ramos had the takedown.

ramos got a tough chin, didnt go down. brown was picking him apart that last 2 minutes or so, those thai knees were brutal. he was pounding him with knees, elbows, straights, uppercuts... brutal. ramos was out for the last minute or so. 8-5 for matt brown in the ufc.

walk out music for nick catone... sympathy for the devil. his nickname being the jersey devil... thus the pun, and overall superb choice.
10-9 catone, striking was pretty close, i think i wouldve leaned catone anyway, but then he got the takedown late.
