Not crazy about the previews and I hate family guy but a friend wants to see it so I'll take her tomorrow. Will post my thoughts afterward.

Loved the movie, Whalberg is HIL-FRIGGIN-ARIOUS! McFarlene was great as well! I want McFarlene to be an actual actor not just a voice star.

I'm probably gonna have to wait until next weekend to check it out. Sounds like everybody likes it so I'm looking forward to it now more than ever.

Seth McFarlanes involvment killed any interest I had in seeing this.
Even though I'm a big fan of Patrick Warburton.

Seeing it in about a half hour. Not typically a huge fan of McFarlane, but I've been pretty interested in this since I saw the first trailer back in April.

I was wrong. I was SO wrong. Total let down. Too many fart jokes. Too much McFarlane humor and nonsense.

I thought the concept was unique, but McFarlane's shortcomings as a writer and a comedian were quite apparent here. You can have a 20 minute cartoon without a coherent plot because it's short, on TV, and because it's a cartoon, as long as the jokes are funny people will be fine with this. This was 2 hours that dragged with a whole lot of nothing. Some of the gags and jokes were funny, most weren't.

I laughed my ass off. So did the whole theater. Very funny stuff, but then again I didn't expect some deep story. It's a movie to make you laugh, and it did.

Anyone hear about the records this movie is breaking?
Anyway, I was only slightly interested in this movie going into it, but coming out I loved it. This suprises me since I hate family guy. The movie is highly entertaining and actually has a *gasp* original idea and plot. Tbh I might get the DVD when it comes out.

It's Seth McFarlane, so that means there will be a total of 4 jokes in the entire movie, each of which is a gag that goes on for about 15-20 minutes (too long) each, a couple of quick filler cutaways, BAM... end credits. I'll pass. You nailed it. Went and saw this on Friday, against my better judgement. I could not wait to get out of the damn theater. Such a bad movie. Maybe like 2 or 3 good jokes tops, but they were ruined by the 10 or 15 flat jokes that followed.

Saw this today and loved it. A really, really good movie. Hilarious, and a surprisingly great and touching story to boot.

I really, really enjoyed it. Though a lot of the humor and the plot itself was run-of-the-mill and overdone, having a living teddy bear deliver it made it unique and clever enough to get by.
I'm not a Seth MacFarlane fan, but I really enjoyed it. Wahlberg and Kunis were great.

Wow I have not laughed that hard in a while. [Non-spoiler]
Its almost 'Too funny' if thats possible, because the story has actual development and deep things going on so when it sorta becomes a downer on the fun.... but that doesnt last long whatsoever because they turn right around with another joke.
God bless seth mcfarlane, and may he bring us a Ted sequel or more big screen films.
Anyone who's a family guy fan though will pick up on all the family guy stuff; nearly the entire cast is in it and the score you can tell is of the same orchestra. theres even cutaways. But normal moviegoers or even casual FG fans wont notice.
"real life theory" totally played a role in this movie and I praise them highly for it. There was very little "why wouldnt he just do this - or that", where the only real answer youll ever get it "its a movie, they dont think like us... logically". They totally knew what I was thinking, and adressed that. Simply, there were few plot holes.

Saw it sunday and will probably see it again friday. I loved it, I was crying because I was laughing so hard during some parts. I loved Ryan Reynolds random cameo in the movie too.
