I always thought the WWE (formally WWF) was better when it was called the WWF. To me WWE sounds like a PG show that a kid would watch but the WWF sounds like a real sport that men would watch. It was always better as WWF and they never should have changed the name to WWE but I guess that's what Vinne O' Mac wants and that's what Vinnie O' Mac gets. I think Vince tries to overextend himself to far into other categories when he should just stick to what he knows. Please discussion guys and keep it friendly.
What do you guys think and feel?

Because the name of the organization actually has an impact on the product?

Because it Federation sounds better than Entertainment, plus if it was WWF, we would have better classic DVD's.

When it was WWF, the product sucked sometimes like it did at times with WWE. I just want a good product, I don't care if it's called WWE or WWF.

No. The name of the company doesn't determine the quality of the product. WWF had down periods just like WWE has. I will never understand this website's infatuation with the attitude era and everything about it. Annoys the hell out of me.

Vince doesn't want anything to do with the attitude era right now. I guess it's because of the nostalgia that people want it back.

You do realize why they had to change the name, right?
Anyways the name has no impact on the product.

I don't think the name affects anything really.
If it was still WWF I would expect the product to be the same as it is now.

Undertaker was better when he had longer hair and Domino's Pizza tasted a lot better when they had The Noid.

Maybe if it were named WWF, the "E" part wouldn't be taken AS seriously.
Then again, I doubt it.

Yes. Fans would suddenly love John Cena if it was called WWF.

It was better when it was called the WWF, but it wouldn't change the direction of the product.

Annoys the hell out of me. i would assume thats because alot of the members on this forum grew up in the attitude era. those childhood memories of the product sure seem alot better than what we are seeing today.
