Where exactly do we go if Anderson wins.......no where. Thats my only problem with this fight. Its almost clear cut that Anderson is going to win and nobody but the fans (if it is a good fight) gain anything from it.

bunch of guys i like on the undercard... brandao, tibau/trinaldo, camozzi/cane. hopefully rony jason/sicilia is good too. the entire main card intrigues me in one or another... erick silva is about to put himself at the forefront of the welterweight division. teixeira should walk through fabio too, but we all know about fabios chin so that should be a fun ass fight... and obviously, the same thing with anderson and stephan.

Honestly though, the card looks GREAT considering what happened. I love the main card.

I honestly see Fitch being taken out in the 2nd or 3rd, personally. Am I bored by some of his fights? Sure. But Erick Silva.....in his home country.....that's a pretty tall order.
Couldn't be happier with the rest of the card. UFC:Rio last year with Silva/Okami was a great PPV and I'm glad I went without a few other PPVs over the last months to save for this one.

I do like Bonnar. He's a good guy. I just don't get this fight. You like PRIDE? If so then you should get this fight. The UFC isn't pride. It doesn't put on freakshows. Of course I loved Pride, but you're comparing apples and oranges here.

Well, what other fight was going to serve as the Main Event in Rio of all places?
Silva said he was willing to fight. Bonnar accepted.

You like PRIDE? If so then you should get this fight. The UFC isn't pride. It doesn't put on freakshows. Of course I loved Pride, but you're comparing apples and oranges here. It's MMA no matter how you look at it, and sometimes when certain matches are not available you've gotta go with what's going to draw and what's going to be entertaining Sticking Anderson in Brazil against a tough S.O.B like Bonnar, that seems like a solid business move to me. And by what I'm reading online, alot of people are in to this fight. I know Andersons going to crush him... but... WAR BONNAR! D<
