So...what exactly is this? Is it just what Thomas Jane does on his days off? Hype for a sequel? Why exactly does this exist?
Either way it was pretty awesome. I loved the movie, but John Travolta wasn't the best pick for a villan...and I like Travolta. Jane was fantastic, everything else was just subpar. I never saw Warzone, it never really looked all that great, quality wise. Id love another Jane film though.

I loved both Punisher movies for entirely different reasons. The second one was just an over the top violent romp. I honestly felt like this fanmade thing was a good mix of the two movies. I'd love to see Jane return as Punisher. Unfortunately, it'll never happen under the Disney/Marvel banned because Punisher is just too violent. I can't imagine them being able to tone it down enough for it to work under that particular banner. Word is that Marvel might work something out with Showtime to make a premium TV show for The Punisher. Nothing is confirmed yet though.

Wasn't the War Journal series a darker more violent version of the Punisher, or am I thinking of something else? yep, dead on. conceptually they were on the ball with punisher, but they didn't execute (no pun intended) the product properly in it's portayal. by this i mean, we finally saw someone who fit the punisher, but he was a very bland punisher. it was the war JOURNAL. frank should've been narrating his every move, breaking down the horrifying psyche of frank castle and just why he feels the need to punish. instead we got a quiet badass who mercilessly killed. really too bad, as it got SO close. It was Punisher: War ZONE actually, not war journal. Either way, I liked Jane as Punisher way better than Stevenson; 04 Punisher is one of my favorite CBMs of all time.

LMFAO @ the Batmarks whining about the use of scores from the TDK OST. I mean how ing nerdy do you have to be to whine and complain about something so trivial?

I wish the movies followed closely to Garth Ennis run on the comics becase that defines what the punisher is. I would also die if I ever saw an onscreen Barracuda

While the movie he did was flawed, I enjoyed it and thought he did a really good job.
I loved the short... Aside from the CG blood, which is pretty much always awful.
