Hogan is alright. I don't like how the bandana is forever attached to his head and can't come off though. Takes away from the Mattel series. Should have used a Jakks Hogan with out the bandana for it. I seen some customs and those are spot on.

Wow that hogan is awesome! Thanks bro! Usually not a fan of customs....But I must say that Hogan is superb and I would love to have it in my collection. This is what I love to read! Like most of us here, I like to keep customs/fix-ups as close to MDT's work as possible. Thanks! Wow that Hogan is beautiful any tips on what paint you used for the skin tone Thanks for the positive feedback, here's the recipe for Hulkster: Model Masters Acrylic Paint Hulkster consists of: R3 Head that came with a children's world title L3 Rock torso Chris Masters arms (these are the biggest arms diameter wise) L6 Texas Tornados trunks E8 Drew McIntyre's legs L5 Macho Man boots and lower legs Hogan is alright. I don't like how the bandana is forever attached to his head and can't come off though. Takes away from the Mattel series. Should have used a Jakks Hogan with out the bandana for it. I seen some customs and those are spot on. Valid point. This is where the saying you can't please them all comes to play. Feedback appreciated, Thanks!

That's a nice skin tone. Did you use a brush or an air brush on that? It looks like a really slick paint job.
Also, did you disassemble the figure before painting it?

Broken down completely, washed with dish soap, painted, given a day timeframe to dry, then re-assembled. I have not glued the torso or the trunks together yet as I like to make sure no paint rubs off anywhere. Also like to check the condition of the joints, I don't want to glue it together only to have a loose ab or arm joint.

Good God that Hogan is outstanding!! His skin tone has the hotdog skin look down perfect. And that's key to making a great Hogan figure. I'm very impressed man!

That is the ONLY decent Mattel Hogan custom I have EVER seen (and I have seen them all), though it's better than decent. It's awesome. Good job, seriously I would buy that. I am dying for a Mattel Hogan. Number one figure on my want list, and yours is worthy. The only thing I would change is I would try to shave off the beard stubble. 9.5/10

The selection of parts to achieve the end result was nothing short of crazy, Hulkster was an arm and a leg in parts but it was worth it. Andre needed this badly. I totally disagreed with MDT's choices on cloth singlets. This was a must. Thanks for the feedback.
