Please read this auction description and tell me what is being sold "You are bidding on one official Mattel Austin 3:16 figure t-shirt. Stone Cold Steve Austin figure and accessories not included. You are only bidding on the Austin 3:16 t-shirt.
This t-shirt was included with the WWE Defining Moments Stone Cold Steve Austin action figure from Mattel."
A buyer filed a complaint after receiving the item, claiming it was not as described.
I don't think it could have been any more clear. Of course now PayPal has put a hold on the funds and since eBay seems to always screw over the seller, I'm sure they will award the buyer a full refund. Hopefully he uses the money to buy some reading lessons.

Auction says shirt only but the picture has the whole figure. If the picture was just the shirt, there's no case for the buyer.

The only thing that seems "wrong" with the post is its listed as "new/unopened" It should have probably been listed as used and then you put the shirt is mint in the description. Everything else is legit though. Cant believe anyone would pay $26 for that shirt though

Actually, if you keep this as proof, and the seller shows you sent the shirt...eBay should take your side, it clearly says its for the shirt only...
Although with the picture I can see why the buyer was confused.

Hopefully he doesn't read this board. LMAO. As if he could read.

Honestly, do you think the bid would've been that high the bidders knew it was just the shirt? Obviously the other bidders thought it was for the entire figure with accessories, too, since the bids got that high. Next time you should just put the shirt in the picture, rather than the whole figure. Yes, he should've read, and you're getting screwed, but if you would've made it all clearer then none of this would've happened.

I see an Austin 3:16 shirt for sale ONLY and no figure or accessories included. The auction specifically states that.

Although with the picture I can see why the buyer was confused. If eBay sides with him, I will have lost total faith in eBay. His complain is that the auction description changed after he paid, but that's not how eBay works. He basically admitted the auction says t-shirt only, but he's trying to say the description changed. Didn't happen. Can't happen! Come on eBay. Don't eff this one up.

This part is fine - You are bidding on one official Mattel Austin 3:16 figure t-shirt. Stone Cold Steve Austin figure and accessories not included. You are only bidding on the Austin 3:16 t-shirt.
However, everything else is confusing and poorly described. Unopened? If you are just selling the t-shirt, that's not possible. Custom? What did you customize about the t-shirt? How do you do that without opening it? Handmade items? What did you make?

I once sold a blu ray dvd and the buyer complained it wasn't a dvd but a blu ray, I lost that one.

A loose shirt doesn't make for an eye catching photo. Sellers should not be penalized for buyers not reading the description at all! The auction was going for around $9.99 until the last few minutes, which is where I expected the auction to end. What should I have done? Cancel the auction when it started to sell for more? That's not the seller's responsibility if the auction is clear, which this one was.

If there was any confusion, why not ask? I will admit to effing up by not changing the category from the last time I listed an item, but the photo is clearly of an open figure, so that can't realistically be used as an excuse. The "4 custom" part means you could use the t-shirt for a custom. I couldn't fit any more text in the title.

I'm sorry I didn't give you the supportive answer you were looking for, but that listing is a mess. /

You should feel bad this dude paid 26 for a freaking shirt, yea its obvious he didnt read the discription but Im postive it wouldnt have gone for half that price if he knew how to use Ebay properly.
DM Austins go for this much? saw a load of them for $13 at Big Lots, might have to go pick some up.

I should feel bad? would you pay 26 for any figure shirt? yes you should feel bad. Is it his fault he didnt read the discription? yes. Ultimately you probably need to have just the shirt in the pic next time as people just assume from the picture.
