So why do their meetings have to be secretive then? And neither you nor your manager have the kind of money and power that these people have, so no obviously you're not plotting to take over the world. If you were, you would just be looney because neither of you have the resources or power to do so. Try using an argument that actually makes sense. I didn't say we were plotting to take over the world. I said we were plotting to screw over co-workers. Look at it this way. If I came to you and said, "Dude. I'm really freaked out. My boss is meeting with my co-worker behind closed doors. They won't tell me what they're discussing and say it's "private." They are out to screw me over. My job is in jeopardy here!!!" Would you think I had a legit concern or that I was being uber paranoid? Don't tell me you never hang out with your friends and peers out of the public eye. Well if you were a manager and all your superiors and fellow managers were in a meeting and you weren't allowed wouldn't you be suspicious?

There isn't an illuminati in the sense that people think, that there is an almost mystical group out there to kill and control the population. There is a form of new world order in that the big bankers, corporations and politicians are all working together to form a world government so that they can gain all power over the economy and over people's lives.
And many conspiracy theories are very accurate...and even if they are not, you cannot take everything at face value and believe everything the government tells you. I usually go half way on conspiracies...did the US blow up their own towers on 9/11? No. But did they have information that could have prevented it? Yes. Was JFK's murder a big conspiracy between LBJ, Nixon, Ford, and Bush? No. But was JFK killed in the way that it has been presented to us by the media? No. Either way, people that just dismiss conspiracy theories because they feel some of it is hard to swallow and they don't want to feel like they are being lied to are just stupid. Like I said, you can't believe everything the government tells you and just take it all at face value. Do research and draw your own conclusions.

My managers and superiors regularly meet and I'm not invited. But then you said if I was a manager. Are you member of the rich and powerful elite and they are meeting without inviting you? Or are you a low level schmuck like me? If the latter, then the fact that they don't invite you to their meetings means nothing as you're not in their peer group.

But, what do I know?

Good debate. Surely if it was true somebody a part of this group would have said something?

I find conspiracy theories very interesting, but do I truly stand behind any of them? No, absolutely not. This. I think the Illuminati is the most interesting of the lot.

I choose to take all things with a grain of salt. Do I believe everything I hear through mainstream media, HELL no. Do I believe every conspiracy theory I hear, HELL no.
The fact is THERE IS alot of sh-t likely going on with governments and high society that would likely scare us or make us extremely angry if we knew the truth about it. I assume this, but just try to live as peaceful and simple of a life as I can within my means because there is likely nothing any of us can do about big government in our lifetimes.
