Could be a dope match. Hopefully they don't get too cute and have the underdog win.
Brody should be the next RoH champ...which means Delirious pulls the trigger 3 years from now.

Final Battle Main Event is Rush vs Brody King Weird Main Event, I mean you get put in a tough spot but they go with the least over member of Villian Enterprises Could be really good though. Brody is a big man that can fly, and Rush, well, he is CMLL, so you know that greatness. Will it be power vs agility? Nothing about the performers, just couldn’t book a colder main event. Before the pandemic Brody was the least important member of villain enterprises doing the VE jobs in tag matches, and Rush understandably hasn’t been able to be on the show since the pandemic. So you have Brody beat Dalton and now he is the #1 contender. I’m sure the match could be good, you just really would have a hard time booking a colder main event. Thats all. The guys Def have an uphill battle to make people care.

Official word that ROH and Scurll have "mutually decided to part ways."

Just in time to become the new leader of Dark Order after supposedly being originally planned to be the leader before he committed to ROH.
(In all seriousness even if he went to AEW I don’t see that happening.)

I promise you AEW or WWE pick him up, in the grand scheme of douchebag wrestling things his was terrible but I don’t think it’s career ending like Starr, Christ, or Ryan.

I already put in my prediction in my thread in the AEW section, but I'll reiterate it here. I called Marty leaving ROH and heading to WWE. The reason I say WWE over AEW isn't because I don't think Tony would hire someone with Marty's history, but that I don't think Tony is willing to hire Marty specifically given he'd have to do image rehabilitation, and Marty essentially turned him down for ROH once already. Kinda feel like he burnt his bridge with Tony given the work Tony would have to do to help him fix his public image.

I can’t say that I have seen anyone anywhere...the internet, wrestling shows, podcasts friends of mine. I haven’t seen one person say that he should be out of wrestling. With Marty and how long ago it was and what felt like a sincere apology people seem to think he should be able to move forward.

I would freaking love the Villain in AEW.

Of the reasons Tony Kahn would have to not want Marty, I'd hope being petty because he re-signed with ROH isn't one of them. They basically gave him a blank cheque and told him if he signed it he'd be the booker. It shouldn't be held against him for taking it.

I don't think it'd be petty if* you have to also to do rehab work for his image. Then the question is "why would I go to all this trouble for one more guy who turned me down when I already have a hugely stacked roster". Because as great as Marty is, at this point he's not a game changer for AEW. If however, hitmanmcedge is correct and there is no real rehab necessary, then yes it would be petty and I don't think Khan would hesitate for a second to hire him. I definitely don't see him as a petty, grudge holding type.

If all the facts are indeed the facts?

I've already said I'm in favour of Marty still being accepted given the information we currently have. I can also verify that the Meltzer boards freaking hate Marty now. They're very sanctimonious over there, and 100% a 'cancel culture' environment, however that makes me think that a lot of those people that initially called for Marty's head would fire right back up when he gets hired on. AEW in particular attracts a large amount of twitter warriors wanting to play gotcha, and Marty is just fuel for that fire. Do I think it's fair or correct? No, not at all, but I think it'll happen.

Not gonna lie, this kinda kills my (little) remaining enthusiasm regarding ROH. Delirious as the main booker has burned me several times.

Same thing with the comments on CageSide Seats. I mean it’s a white knighting self-righteous cesspool. Majority of fans would probably be unaware of his past issues, and others would get over it.

Dalton Castle is a free agent, ROH offered him a really good deal but he is gonna see other offers before resigning.

If a Ring of Honor PPV takes place but no one watches it does it even take place? Man the ppv is this Friday and literally no one cares. The card is full of solid yet unspectacular matches and Rhett Titus is back to being in the upper mid card to this company. At one point ROH was my Jam as uncool as it is to say 2008-2014 ROH was probably my 2nd favorite time as a wrestling fan after 1989-1993 WWF (which was my infancy as a fan)

That has me kinda curious after watching the promo EC3 cut. I catch a few ROH updates here and there on the Youtube....they have made some low key moves with Bennet and EC3. We shall hope for a good run.
