So, I'm being bombarded for an extension and such. I gave one to Cam because he knew he'd never be able to get it done before the deadline day and such, but now I'm getting even more requests. An exception for one person is one thing under extenuating circumstances like he was, but now I'm kind of feeling obligated to grant it to everyone else since they're all asking and such. So...what do y'all think and such?
And my RP's gonna be interesting to say the least and such. Haha.

I have no personal opinion as I plan to turn in before the original deadline.

If you grant it for one you should grant it for all

One day, we'll get a show out with no extensions, no deadline stretches. I know it. I can feeeeel it.

we really should just start having "roleplay deadline: Tuesday. Extension deadline: Thursday" with whatever dates, on each card. Just mark the extension from the start and be done with it.

One day extension granted and such. Next show, there will be none for any reason at all. Not to sound like an ass, but if you want to wait till the last minute to write your sh*t? Deal with it. And to be less ass sounding and such, if you're not waiting till the last minute, but have no time to write...if you don't have the time to write it, then let us know and we won't book you that show. I'm sick of these, honestly, but if one's given, everyone deserves one and such. I hate to play the bad guy card and such...it's just...ugh.
All things considered, I don't mind extensions at all and such. But every week...I'm starting to get annoyed and such. Haha.

It's too bad a firm deadline couldn't be part of the WFWF 'Revolution'...
...I'll be here all weeks, folks. Tip your waiters. Try the veal.

I say we reduce the deadline by one day, then when the extension comes it'll actually just be our normal deadline. But personally, I don't care, because I've already got mine up. It'd be hypocritical of me to say no because I've asked for an extension in the past. If it is given then I might do some editing, but either way I'm happy with my piece.

I know it's partially our own faults for giving one every single time people ask, but we need to start being more stringent with deadlines. I personally think that we should do the "no deadlines period" type shows for a few shows so people don't start relying on the fact that we will give one every time, because we won't. I honestly didn't want to this time around, but it was different people who asked so I felt obligated. With that said, I shall be turning mine in tomorrow based upon this news. ;D

by the time the results are up, I'll probably have my next three roleplays written.
...I've already got about 2/3rds of my next one written, that I did in one sitting at 3 AM last night

I wish I either a) had the foresight to know my next opponent so I could keep writing, or b) had an alternate outlet to compensate for the downtime in the WFWF.

I think that's the benefit of my style of writing, is I can write about 75% of a roleplay, tweak where needed within the main scene, then mostly address what needs addressing in the monologue. I think this show was the first show in a LONG time that the "scenes" were based almost exclusively around the match, which makes sense since it's such an angle climax, in a match.

So I hear we have a voting committee now. I'd like to know who's on it so I can befriend them.

I usually don't approach my rps with a monologue bit - that was something new I tried this time around just to try it out, and I certainly don't want to come to rely on it as my sole trick. Still, makes writing in advance tricky.

I initially asked because I basically got screwed at work, 22 straight long days, and by the time I get home, I eat, shower, have maybe an hour to wind down before I go back to bed for the most part, it just kinda was impossible for me to get it in on time.
