But all the "good" figures were gone It was a long day for me, Today. My son had a Soccer game this morning and immediately after We headed over to Frank Son's Collectible show for a AWS Wrestling event. A local wrestler was having a match over there so I thought I'd go to support the dude. It was a great Event. Paul London and Scorpio Sky (Mason Andrews) was the main event. Anyhow, this was my first trip to Frank and Son's Collectible show. I heard a lot of things about this place. IF any of you are from Southern Cali, then I am sure you know about this spot. There are many Vendors here with Hella Scalper prices. Yokos for $35, Bellas for $40, Hunicos for $25 ect ect. I didn't Buy anything from here because it was too much of a rip off. While I was leaving the place, I get a call from my sister and she says "I found the big black guy with muscles and a belt at Walmart." Ezekiel Jackson!! I rushed over to the Walmart once I got home. I found 2 Rocks, an Orton and Jackson. Diesel, Punk and Slater were gone. crap! I was disappointed. An employee was courteous enough to scan and check the inventory. They were gonzo! I picked up the Jackson and left. I'll be checking my other Walmarts tomorrow morning. I hope I can get a Diesel! 8 Basic 17 Henry's shelf warming like a mofo! Here's my son and nephew with Paul London from the Event.

I did see Johnny Yuma. He's an awesome performer. B Boy was the victor though.

Nice! B17 Henry and Rey along with Signature Series are peg warming at my WM, was hoping for E16 to be there but instead it was E15. Cool pic with London!

Many years ago when my wife and I were first married we went on a 2 week "family vacation" with my mother, younger sister, older sister, her husband & daughter to Palm Desert CA (I refer to as "The trip from hell") Anyway it must have been back around 1995 (whenever Batman Forever was out) But my wife and I drove to LA one Friday and stopped at that Frank & sons because it was always mentioned in Lee's & Tomarts magazines. I picked up a 10 cent baseball card there of Andy Van Slyke and that was it, because I refused to pay their prices. But on the way back to Palm desert we stopped at every Target and WalMart along the way and I piced up quite a bit of Batman TAS & Batman Forever figures along with the Forever Batmobile.
Nice to see you son and nephew had a good time. Also the E16 Orton is the sleeper in the set. I think after Punk it's the best firgure in Series 16. My issue with Diesel (and Nash) is the torso should be thicker. The waist is too thin and the chest isn't broad enough especially on that lower body.

How was paul? was he a nice guy? Paul is a really nice guy. He stood around after the show to greet everyone for quite some time. I told him the promo he did with Bryan in PWG was hilarious! He said everyone thinks he was "Under the Influence" when he did that promo but it was all impromptu.

I wouldn't pay their prices any day. I did see some cheap Jakks figures. I bought a $3 Stone Cold Banger toy. That was it. I agree with you. That Orton fig is pretty nice. It's his best fig that has been released. I really like the headscan. I'll eventually buy it but I want to capture the ones I really want first. My son still has his E12 Orton and I think he's okay with that.

Cool! ;D
Frank & Son's does have a lot of expensive wrestling figures.
You were at AWS too? I was their. I got London's autograph. I go to a ton of indy shows around there and have seen London a handful of times, but that was my first time at AWS.

Great entertainment and good wrestling. I can remember seeing London drop someone's marker during an autograph. Was that yours? haha He's a really chill dude.

He dropped the guy's pen befor me, and then he almost dropped mine. I was the one wearing the yellow-ish shirt with the two chickens on it (Los Pollos Hermanos from Breaking Bad), I had brown hair. AWS was fun, but my favorite is BPW. That one is the greatest. If you can ever make it to their show, I really recommend you go: www.facebook.com/battlegroundprowrestlingYeah, he's real nice. Kind of weird, but I like that about him.

I'll definitely try to make it to one of BPW's shows. It looks like they had a show on Saturday night too. I wish I would have known sooner. I'd love to attend two shows back to back in a single day. Lol. I can recall the scenario. I was probably a few people behind you. I was the guy with a Gray/Blue Bulls Hat. I had two kiddos with me. They loved the show.

But it still sounds cool to meet Bret Hart. Are you going? Oh yeah, this might interest you too. On the 9th, NWA is having a free TV taping. Can't beat free wrestling: www.facebook.com/events/108494215967894/
