I'm a different type of gamer. I don't play the newest games that are released and I hate first person shooters. I refuse to play Call of Duty, Halo, or any of the war games that are super popular. They simply don't appeal to me. I don't have Xbox Live because I had it and I rarely used it.
I prefer to play older games, simply because I don't have a big budget to spend on video games. If I can get a game that lasts me 3 months for $10, that makes much more sense than getting the same game for $60 when it's first released. It's new to me all along.
I've loved the Dead Rising series and have played through all three of them. I played Dead Rising 2 for months and pretty much got to the point where nothing in it was a challenge, because I had played it so many times through. I dug Crackdown 1 & 2, and I just finished Saints Row 2 today, after playing through 1 & 2 back to back. I loved Red Dead Redemption and did play through Undead Nightmare, though Undead Nightmare was a bit too short of an adventure for my liking.
Recommend me something to play.

Fallout 3 Dragon Age Origins Fallout: New Vegas
I wouldn't recommend Oblivion. You would be better off getting a copy of the GOTY edition of Morrowind for the original Xbox and playing it on the 360. Great game, probably the best in the Elder Scrolls series. Oblivion and Skyrim are very very good but they have becomed streamlined and are much more simple than Morrowind.

Fallout 3. I personally loved Civilisation:Revolution on console, and think it was a great little strategy game. GTA IV maybe?

Dead Rising 1. You'll literally be playing it over and over again. I think I've played it something like 50 or 60 times.

Oh right, thought Skyrim might have gone down in price by now because it's a single player game. L.A Noire? that's a pretty good game.

Smackdown vs Raw 2007. Should cost about $5 I honestly hate wrestling games, because the story modes are either so easy that it's boring to play through them, or there's elements that are just not fun to play. It's not fun to play a 3 on 1 handicap match. That's difficulty for the sake of difficulty, not a challenge. I had Smackdown vs. Raw 09, and sold it, because it just wasn't very much fun and I never played it. I'd like to get 2011 at some point, because I rented it and I enjoyed playing the new ladder and table matches, but not enough to pay more than $10 shipped for it. GTA IV? Saints Row 3, Red dead redemption, Dark souls, Kingdoms of Amalur, Witcher 2, Borderlands, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City. Outside of a hockey game I got with my Xbox, GTA 4 was the first game I got. I bought it the day I got my Xbox. Saints Row 3 is way out of my price range, otherwise I'd be getting it immediately to continue the story where it leaves off with 2. I've already got and beat Red Dead Redemption, and Batman doesn't appeal to me at all. I've never got into Batman, even when I was little. Dead Rising 1. You'll literally be playing it over and over again. I think I've played it something like 50 or 60 times. was the second game I got for 360, and one of the driving points for me getting a 360. I'm looking for older games.. Games that are 2-3 years old.. Games that I'm NOT going to have to spend $30-$40 to get.. Go to gamestop and look? Oblivion? Fall Out? That defeats the entire purpose of this post. What point is there to ask for opinions, if the opinion is to just walk in blind and start looking? And end up with a junk game, that I'd be paying $5-$10 MORE than I would buying it from eBay, Amazon, or another seller online. I refuse to shop in Gamestop any more, because I've found Gamestop is everything I've grown to hate about the video game culture. Their prices are ALWAYS high, the games are almost always missing the books, messed up cases, and scratched discs.. they come plastered with a hundred stickers on the case, and in order to get this extremely subpar product, I've got to deal with a fat mouth breather who wants to shill me 50 preorders for all these trendy shoot'em ups. It's just a miserable experience to go in there, and the only time I will is if I have a gift card. The last 2 times I've got a Gamestop gift card, I've used it online SPECIFICALLY to avoid dealing with the dungeons and dragons geeks that work in there.

I just got Gears of War 2 from Gamestop for $5. Find me a better deal. Gamestop generates a lot of heat but they do happen to have some of the best deals out their, that's why they stay in business.

Amazon has used copies less than $1 higher than that, shipped to your door. eBay has many copies at $0.99 with free shipping and ending copies as low as $4
