How on earth do the pots work? Why are Braga ahead of Juventus and PSG ahead of Dortmund? Very strange.

Juve have been away from European competition for a long time so that explains why they're down. Not as sure with Dortmund, maybe they had a long period without playing in Europe. I definitely remember them in Arsenal's group last year.

Barcelona will get a group like Braga, Olympiakos & FC Nordsjaelland. It's always the same.
Hoping Real Madrid get in the same group as Celtic, would desperately try and get tickets for the away end when they play at Parkhead.

Group D is class. Our group is, on paper, even more straightforward than last year, and Fergie will be fuming after we spectacularly took our eye off the ball last time. Barca always get a piss easy group.
Bold to qualify first, Underlined to qualify second
Group A: Porto, Dynamo Kiev, Paris St Germain, Dinamo Zagreb
Group B: Arsenal, Schalke, Olympiakos, Montpellier
Group C: AC Milan, Zenit St Petersburg, Anderlecht, Malaga
Group D: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund
Group E: Chelsea, Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus, FC Nordsjaelland
Group F: Bayern Munich, Valencia, Lille, BATE Borisov
Group G: Barcelona, Benfica, Spartak Moscow, Celtic
Group H: Manchester United, Braga, Galatasaray, CFR Cluj

Why's everyone got Celtic down to come last? I think that we've beaten Benfica in the group stages twice in the past 6(5?) years, well at least once. We've also came ahead of Spartak before. May have been a completely different team, but we're not far behind the team we had then. With our home record, we should at least beat Benfica/Spartak and possibly Barca' if we're lucky. Not getting to exited though with our away record That aside, looks to be some great football. Group A: Porto, Dynamo Kiev, Paris St Germain, Dinamo Zagreb Group B: Arsenal, Schalke, Olympiakos, Montpellier Group C: AC Milan, Zenit St Petersburg, Anderlecht, Malaga Group D: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund Group E: Chelsea, Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus, FC Nordsjaelland Group F: Bayern Munich, Valencia, Lille, BATE Borisov Group G: Barcelona, Benfica, Spartak Moscow, Celtic(Being optimistic) Group H: Manchester United, Braga, Galatasaray, CFR Cluj

Reckon Celtic will be lucky to get 2 points in the whole group stage. They have such a rubbish team.

How on earth do the pots work? Why are Braga ahead of Juventus and PSG ahead of Dortmund? Very strange. Because Braga was on Uefa cup final 2 years ago? Because the year before that they got into Champions league after defeating Celtic and Sevilla? Because on group stage that year they beat Arsenal? Because i dont remember the last time PSG and Dortmund did any of that? Because last year A brit team played them twice on Europa league (Birmingham) and lost both of them? Group G: Barcelona, Benfica, Spartak Moscow, Celtic One more lesson to be learnt this year! Your love for Benfica make my eyes full of tears... Barcelona will get a group like Braga, Olympiakos & FC Nordsjaelland. It's always the same. You guys should start watching more football. Did you see them against Udinese? Funny how for most brit fans whatever team that comes from either Portugal Greece or Holland are complete gargabe. And then things like PAOK happen...

Not getting to exited though with our away record I think the problem is that the current team is quite a bit behind what you had 6-7 years ago. Sutton, Balde, Lennon (little er), Hartson, McNamara (although he was one of our worst players in recent history) all seem miles ahead of what you have now. Izaguare(sp?), Kayal, and Wanyama seem like the only true players you have and I can really see Mulgrew being torn a new one by any decent team. He is just an awful defender. Group A: Porto, Dynamo Kiev, Paris St Germain, Dinamo Zagreb Group B: Arsenal, Schalke, Olympiakos, Montpellier Group C: AC Milan, Zenit St Petersburg, Anderlecht, Malaga Group D: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund Group E: Chelsea, Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus, FC Nordsjaelland Group F: Bayern Munich, Valencia, Lille, BATE Borisov Group G: Barcelona, Benfica, Spartak Moscow, Celtic Group H: Manchester United, Braga, Galatasaray, CFR Cluj

Because the year before that they got into Champions league after defeating Celtic and Sevilla? Fair enough.Because on group stage that year they beat Arsenal? Arsenal also won 6-0 against Braga in that group and Braga were eliminated from the group stage. Shaktar beat Arsenal too, as have other teams in recent years such as Olympiakos. Because i dont remember the last time PSG and Dortmund did any of that? Dortmund have won the Champions League in the past 15 years, and both have been in the Champions League a lot more consistently than Braga in the past. The German league is also much stronger than the Portugese.Because last year A brit team played them twice on Europa league (Birmingham) and lost both of them? Birmingham are not even a top division English club.

And then things like PAOK happen... Braga were the favourable group from pot 2, no question, except maybe Schalke. Benfica will be raped by Barca, and I think they'll find it difficult against Moscow. If we wern't so ing complacent last year and played to half our usual standard they wouldn't have made it as far last time around. Also, -_- to wylee
