Just curious how Mattel is going to do this because apparently the WWE just wants everyone to forget about the Skip Sheffield gimmick as they never once have mentioned it or ever have said that he is the same guy on TV. So my question is, do you think Mattel will follow this trend and pretend Skip never happened and give Ryback the "1st time in the line" sticker?

I have no clue about that all I know is I cannot freaking wait until the day I own a figure of RYBACK!

He will get the sticker, Mattel will consider him first time in the Elite line as Ryback. Plus the sticker can hype up the figure.

I'm pretty sure he will, Ryback is reinvented as a different gimmick.

And besides, they didn't put the sticker on Brodus' new figure and he was repackaged after his B15 and I don't think wwe even acknowledges he was on NXT or Alberto's body guard. His gimmick is an Alien Dinosaur from Planet Funk, who likes to dance, it can't get any more "repackaged" than this.

Just curious how Mattel is going to do this because apparently the WWE just wants everyone to forget about the Skip Sheffield gimmick as they never once have mentioned it or ever have said that he is the same guy on TV. So my question is, do you think Mattel will follow this trend and pretend Skip never happened and give Ryback the "1st time in the line" sticker? they have mentioned he was on NXT. mulitple times during his return. now its not needed. Now it serves no purpose to mention it. with that being said i dont think he will get the sticker. Mattel even mentioned him as skip in the matty forums question responses.

They talked about it when he first started as ryback and since mentioned about how he got hurt and came back they have not tried to make it a secret from what i have seen

It would be pointless, especially if there was a "First Time in Line" stickered Ryback next to a B11 Skip Sheffield on a peg.

I doubt it unless it's "First time in the Elite" series.

i'm pretty sure he will. do any of us already have a figure that says ryback on the carding? no... also wwe doesn't much acknowledge his previous incarnation. it's too bad hunico wont. i really would have preferred that other hunico to have just been called sin cara negro.

This is a very good question. I'm gonna say no, but my gut feeling is that they will.
But, my final answer is NO.

They probably won't since they mentioned their Skip Sheffield figure.
My thing with Ryback is with all of the cool singlets he wears, I would rather see him in every other series over the batch of usuals. Multiple Rybacks that were different, I would actually be excited about buying over a ton of Cenas or Reys.
This all hinges on him continuing to get TV time and getting over with the crowd though.
