If this fight happens i'd almost gaurentee that Silva wins. GSP is very good dont get me wrong but he's not the destructive fighter that Silva and Jon Jones are. I think Silva/Jones is a better fight but GSP/Silva has been begged for for over 4-5 years now so it needs to happen. I disagree. I think Silva has a slight advantage to win but GSP has many threats for him. His outstanding wrestling (which is where Silva struggles) along with his striking game (which is some of the best in MMA, not as good as Silvas but far above average) would make this fight hard to pick a definite winner.

I honestly would pick GSP to beat Silva, if Silva has a weakness its definitely his wrestling and GSP is in the elite of MMA wrestlers, plus unlike Sonnen he has a top game. Plus I don't think the size would be that much of a factor, I mean GSP dominated Alves and Silva is not that much bigger size wise (not that I'm comparing Alves to Silva or discounting the reach factor). GSP doesn't appear to have that glaring weakness that Silva has and I think GSP could easily exploit that.

Lets just all hope and pray condit loses to gsp. I think gsp could be the only guy to be silva and if silva beats gsp he should either retire or go to 205

Looking at GSP Vs Silva...
Size - Silva, the guy is naturally bigger, and fights comfortably at LHW.
Striking - Silva, if this stays on the feet, GSP is doomed.
Ground - GSP, Silva has solid BJJ, but he ain't tapping GSP.
Conditioning - GSP, never seen Georges get that tired before, Silva looked rough in the Sonnen fight.
Finishing Ability - Silva, Anderson can finish this fight at any opening given, Georges lets face it might want to finish, but he doesn't succeed on that with the current opponents he has taken on. Silva is a whole other animal.
So it comes down to this, GSP's best chance of winning is taking down Anderson Silva early in each round and holding him down there with out leaving any openings whilst staying active enough to keep the fight on the ground. All Silva needs to do is tap him on the jaw at any opening and he wins, point fighting is great if you're good at it, but the reality of it is the longer you're out there, the longer someone has a chance to finish you. And if Anderson Silva rocks GSP, I don't believe GSP is mentally strong enough to deal with what's going to come next.
Silva wins this fight easily.

Exactly.....and Silva has shown that it takes more then just wrestling to beat him in the Sonnen fights.
