This guy has the tools that it takes from what ive seen of him. Hes got a great heel face and is good in the ring, havent heard him much on promos but anyway the name must go i mean kids cant even pronounce the damn name! Lets hear your suggestions.
1. Cutter Hennig 2. Michael Hennig 3. Michael "The Cutter" Hennig.

Yeah, why not Joe Hennig? I don't get why WWE will openly refer to him as Curt's son, yet they won't give him the same last name or let him pay tribute to Mr. Perfect at all.

Joe Hennig....He's the son of Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig. We all know it. Why hold the kid down with horrible names and gimmicks. He's the son of Mr. Perfect. It practically writes itself.

I'd also add that I'd love if they gave him the Perfect Plex as a finisher, or possibly some hybrid of it like a Fisherman's Buster. His running neckbreaker just doesn't look like a finishing move to me.

Just changing the surname and calling him Mike Hennig would be a step up. "McGillicutty" has always been way too clunky.

They should embrace his status as a 2nd generation wrestler, and not by giving the impression that he is an illegitimate child. He looks a lot like Curt in the face, so just call him Joe Hennig, son of Mr. Perfect, grandson of Larry the Axe Hennig. No need for cutter.

His name ALWAYS made me think of Beulah. As far as a name change, I'd say keep Michael or mike and take on his real last Name.

They said he adopted the Mcguillicutty name because it was his "mothers maiden name" which is a load of crap and a cover up for WWE not wanting their wrestlers to use their real names . He has all the skilled needed to be a world champ and I don't care how badly they want to stay away from the "riding my parents coattails" gimmick that's exactly what he should do at least to get over at first.

I heard him say in a podcast that he was given the name McGillicutty because apparently Vince always wanted to use it on somebody. He also said that eventually he would use his real name.

Sadly I'm sure that that is the real behind the scenes reason as to why he has the name. One of Vinces crazy ideas. But in kayfabe when he debuted on NXT he said in a promo that he is Perfects son, but uses his mothers maiden name (which likley isn't true) I just can't wait until he's repackaged and taken seriously.
