I read somewhere online that paralyzed superstar Darren Drozdov was still employed by WWE giving his picks for PPV cards. Is this true?

he's done various things for WWE.com since he got hurt. Pretty sure he'll be employed for life

He's still on the payroll, but I don't believe he's doing much with the company. He probably just shows up backstage to hang out with some of his old friends.

Last I heard he was doing some .com stuff, but that was years ago. I thought he left the company a while back, but can't remember where that info came from. But even if he's not with the company anymore, I'm sure he's set for life.

I remember him having a WWF.com/WWE.com job for several years, but I don't think that's necessarily the case anymore. I remember a couple of years ago there being online backlash toward Stephanie and the company as a whole for his release, but I'd imagine it's possible he's been rehired since then.

Like it's been stated he was active on WWE.com for years, but he hasn't for a looong long time. I'd imagine he still gets paid regularly and heavily by WWE.
WWE, for all the bad things brought down upon them, did very good with Droz and keeping him employed and paying him.

Even though it wasn't their fault for what happened to him. That person who threw the drink should be banned from WWE events

I just watched Beyond the Mat a couple days ago and learned about his story. It really is unfortunate, especially seeing his enthusiasm as he went for his interview with Vince. He's not completely paralyzed is he?

When D'Lo Brown went for his running powerbomb, a fan threw a drink in the ring which made him slip and D'Lo already didn't have a good grip on Droz. Darren didn't do the proper jump to aid in the lift of the powerbomb and the move was botched.

Darren didn't do the proper jump to aid in the lift of the powerbomb and the move was botched. From most accounts, there was no drink. D-Lo didn't get Droz up properly for the powerbomb, having trouble getting a grip on what Droz was wearing. D-Lo didn't get him up high enough and when he powerbombed him, Droz landed right on his neck.
