It's pretty clear that Triple H is driving the company in a pretty solid direction, and has been for a little while now. The changes have been subtle, but quite welcomed.
It's pretty crazy to think that right now, the tag team titles are getting more attention than the World Championship.
I'm not saying that's right, but I guess it's payback for being dumped on for the better part of the last ten years.

yeah but HHH sucks because he buried talent on his way to the top 10 years ago oh and he only married the bosses daughter because he wanted power oh and he never puts anyone over because he's an ego maniac who only cares about himself That's all still true, even if there are currently 5 makeshift tag teams that won't be together a year from now.

I'm not big on the makeshift tag teams (Kingston/Truth, Rhodes/Sandow), but I'm glad they are trying here & Triple H deserves a lot of credit for making some positive changes in the post-Johnny era.

I hope that they bring up Ascension and have them win the tag titles in there debut in a triple threat. Then we will have a non make shift champions to face against fresh teams instead of Kane and Bryan.

If Triple H decides to be in favor of and push Tag Team wrestling, then all the people who think he's evil have to start hating Tag Team wrestling....that's just how it works. You guys have to hate everything Triple H likes or you're hypocrites.

It's a jab at the guys who are like cos H is "doing" such and such you can't possibly dislike the guy for any reason you may have deemed feasible prior - all off the back of the word of the dirty filthy nasty sheets. How dare you hate the guy! I've never been one to read such crap, I couldn't name a 'dirtsheet' site but I believe in what I see and it's pretty clear that h has driven himself where he's not been needed or wanted in the past to the detriment of others and the product as a whole.

Mad props to "Pretty" Paul - especially surprising considering he never competed in said tag team division.

I just wish they would bring in a few actual teams and pump them up. Hoping they just don't start putting mid-carders together. tag teams are meant for mid card.

Triple H seems to want to get things back to the way they were before John Laurinaitis took over for JR. Stronger Tag Team division & Less models in the Divas division are both a great places to start. Arguably the greatest female wrestler of all time -- Trish Stratus -- was a model. So, I've always been apprehensive to accept that as an issue. It's more about finding women who actually care about the business, not just improving their fame, than the model/wrestler angle.

I hope it's right about BOTH divisions.
If they can have exciting Tag, Women's, and Main Event divisions...then maybe WWE can stop seeming so incredibly stale.

Fair enough, still just a portion of his career though. Triple H never competed for the WWE Championship. Well, he did, but that was just a portion of his career, so it doesn't count.

What I was trying to convey is that I think you're better off finding a woman who's been training for years as opposed to picking her out of a magazine photo-shoot.

Yeah, we've seen the Tag Team Division on the rise before, only to fall shortly after. I'm not thanking anybody until I see some consistency.

Before JL you had Terri Runnels, BB, Miss Kitty, Sable, Debra, Taker's missus, Nicole Bass all running around. It just goes in cycles, nothing to do with who's in charge.

You get all these ugly Shimmer girls who can work an "Indy" style match where people behind keyboards think they're great - but in reality nobody wants to see that on a mass market appeal, nor does the mass market want to look at the faces or bodies of a lot of those type of women. The current crop are great: they look AMAZING, and they can pull of wrestling matches. They are confident speakers for PR, and on the whole they're not assosiated with porn / naked shoots like in years gone by. If it ain't broke - don't fix it.

We also had Trish vs Lita in a Steel Cage as the main event on RAW. All those you mentioned were all involved in WWE because they were associated with Goldust, Holly, Lawler, Mero, Austin, & Undertaker. But I personally don't recall seeing Runnels, BB, Sara, Nicole or Debra wrestling on a regular basis. So I don't see what that has to do with anything. I never said I have a problem with random eye candy. Just don't try to pass them off as a credible champion. In the few months since Triple H has taken over we have had longer better matches for the Woman's division already. Layla vs Eve was a decent match that was actually given time to develop. And the Divas actually have a storyline to work with instead of some random match here or there. Not to mention the improvements in the Tag Team Division that was nearly dormant for the last 7 years.
