the mankind figure is awesome. they shouldve used ball jointed shoulders with a swivel--they couldve used the same ball on all the shoulders then molded the new arm to fit into it but whatever. but i was even more disappointed when i put him next to other figures--he's not only too short but his overall proportions are scaled smaller too. he stood well above cm punk in the interactions on raw IMAG0058 by bharrisfan, on Flickr hes even shorter than bret hart who is like 5'10. foley is 6'2 IMAG0059 by bharrisfan, on Flickr

Its a legit complaint, I wonder if The Rock's figure towers over him?

Are the figures usually good for size comparisons like this? Or is this just a problem with the Mankind figure?

So we are dealing with TTL arms again? And the height..that's not cool.

CM Punk figures are a tad too tall. He's taller than my Cena figures. But my complaint is that he's too skinny, wish he was a little rounder.
The shoulders still have the same movement as before and it looks better IMO. The arm also has 360 degree movement.

I hadn't noticed this on my figures, but looking at the pics, yeah that is pretty bad. Foley was a deceptively huge guy. I guess Mattel have Basic Swaggered the Mankind figure a bit.

I mean Mattel tries to get everything in scale but there will always be a figure or too that will make it not in scale.

Seeing this doesn't change my mind. I still think the figure looks slick, and I'd say every once in a while Mattel isn't going to get everything 100% accurate. It's a great sculpt, and the arms don't seem hindered by the new articulation. I'll never understand why they went with the sweet pants mold and not the browns tights. I think they went the sweatpants route this time around because Foley was more known for the black sweatpants after he started wearing the shirt/tie. I know for a while he still wore the brown tights under the shirt, but I'd rather have the sweatpants on this figure and get a totally classic, all-brown Mankind down the line.

I think its just the figures you used...But then again I dont know. Foley is listed as 6'2''...The same height as Savage... While you said Bret is no more then '5'10" which I cant deny or confirm, everything Ive seen has him listed at 6'1'' and compared with foley, they're about the same height...

I'll never understand why they went with the sweet pants mold and not the browns tights. same here-ALL his top moments came in brown tights/white shirt. & thats why I passed on this one. HIAC 98 against Taker Jan 4th 99 title win I Quit against the Rock all in White Shirt/Brown tights.if this figure had came with his Rock N Sock Connection shirt then yeah sweats were logical, but since he didnt its a bust for me.

The frame of the figure is still small even you like the height. just want mattel to take note so if/when we do get all brown mankind he'll be fixed
