Anyone know the story of where this idea went? did it flat out die? You don't have it? It's channel 854 on Comcast. I'm watching Wrestlemania 2000 right now. ...no but seriously it flopped.

WWE had no idea how to actually start a channel.

More or less looking like it's dead in the water.

Well, thanks to 3 Hour Raw, I'm pretty sure WWE understands now that it just isn't a good idea.

I think the entire network is a dead plan, but with the Hulu Plus streaming deal, that's as close as we'll get to a network.

They should have just signed the deal NBC was offering them where they would have been give a set amount of time on a channel.

I'm glad WWE isn't getting it's own channel. Looking at 3-hour Raw and what WWE had in store for the network (Divas reality show?!?) it was probably going to be piss-poor and the lot of us would've bitched and moaned about it. WWE 24/7 is still the best choice for your WWE Channel fix.

WWE says it is still in the works, they just ran into technical issues and are taking their time to get things in order.
Rumor mill says the network is not being picked up by providers as they see wrestling as a bad option for a pay network and the WWE as a weak brand for such a risky venture on their part.
Truth is most likely someplace in between. WWE might have tried to pitch the idea to the providers and they hated how bad everything looked along with the shifting ratings numbers for current WWE TV, production values and costs for a pay network and told them to fix things up and try again.

Plus adding Main Event and Sat Morning slam to the weeks shows. Why do you even watch wrestling if you just complain and not want to watch it? I'm a true fan and could watch wrestling all day. I was hoping WWE network would still go through for sure as i would love to watch old ppv's and shows 24/7. I def miss 'In Your House" and other ppvs from 1992-1999

WWE Network would have been great and i definitely would have gotten it. But i feel we won't see it up and running for some time.
Classics on Demand however is just awesome! i've had it for couple years and definitely worth the $10/month. For instance they started airing WWF Mania couple months back and its great looking back and seeing how much enthusiasm Todd Pettengill had in a cheesy way.
