Imagine happen at Royal Rumble? I mean WWE book wrestler A to wins rumble, and he accident eliminate by somehow (i.e. slip out, etc)? I've ALWAYS wondered about that. Most of the time, there are so many "close calls" and "false finishes" in Rumble matches. They have to be on such high alert it's insane, and even then, accidents happen. I'm shocked it hasn't. occurred. I mean, I'd be willing to bet that at some point it has, but not in a situation that would have effected the outcome. In any case, I've seen plenty of instances in which a referee tends to hesitate on counting a 3, or slows down his count on purpose, etc, to ensure the spot happens as planned.

At WrestleMania VIII in the main event between Hulk Hogan and Sid Justice, Hogan hit Sid with his leg drop and Papa Shango was supposed to break up the pin.
Shango missed his cue, though, and was late getting to the ring, so Sid had to kick out and make Hogan look weak. It didn't technically change the outcome of the match, but the finish was altered a bit.

Good question. But I dont think It ever did happen? You are correct, this has never happened in the history of professional wrestling.

The Sting/Hogan Starrcade 97 meeting. Wasn't Nick Patrick supposed to fast count but accidentally did a normal speed count?

If I recall correctly at Wrestlemania 16 or 17 in the Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels match, shawn held Bret's shoulders down for the three count and Bret was unable to kick out. I hope you are trolling, but this is the best thing I have seen in a while. Lol what an idiot

Or, Miz distracting Cena, leading to Riley dumping out Cena...
