NWA Warzone Wrestling in Victoria! Glad to see Australia getting some recognition. Umm, don't know what to say about this, very interesting. On a side note, if these two guys still want to wrestle in Australia, come To ZERO1 in Adelaide!

It is 2012. It doesn't matter who the NWA champ is.

It is 2012. It doesn't matter who the NWA champ is. Pretty much this. When they pulled away from TNA they had a shot to really do something with the "Reclaiming the Glory" Title tournament, mainly by having Danielson walk away with the title. It was something that was pulling even "non Indy" fans in to see what happened and they ended up putting the title on a guy that "non Indy" fans had no idea who it was (Adam Pearce) and they lost interest quickly. I think now, people just dont care anymore. The NWA title is no different then the Southeast Heavyweight Title that's defended at your local flea market.

Danielson would have probably won it if it wasn't for him getting injured in a match with Morishima. Pearce is fairly well known on the indy scene as a good worker.

Unprofessional by both of them if it's real. But I have speculation it was scripted. Colt Cabana is such a shady person I imagine his part of this so called moving speech was written by him. It seems every time I decide to tune into something he is apart of. I get these promo's "Oh woe is me I didn't make it in the big leagues so now I'm on my own" I just get tired of it. You didn't have what it takes, it happens. Stop referring to it and move on.
Now, NWA you are at fault here too for letting this happen (if real) the first offense was the ring or so called. I don't even know what you call what those two men were in? But it was no ring or steel cage. I've seen better ring's at the local armory here in my home town and you are the NWA? Supposedly the biggest independent wrestling company in the Untied States and you let the talent wrestle in that?
I think as a company you could of at least built a decent cage for the final match to end the feud. Also why were they allowed to "shoot" if you knew prior those two were both unhappy you should of not allowed them interview time after the match.

NWA is one of the best, but NWA Warzone Wrestling, where the match took place, is in Victoria Australia, and the main venue they use isn't that big, so that's the reason they can't fit a huge cage in there. Would love to see a full sized cage.

If the NWA has built up this huge "7 Levels of Hate" series, why the hell would they not approve the blowoff match? I guess its not like it matters, the NWA has been dead since Crockett sold to Turner.

This probably has to do with the lawsuit most NWA Promotions have filed against the current president of the NWA. It's one reason NWA Hollywood is now known only as Championship Wrestling from Hollywood

Im sure Pearce is/was but that was the point. As a "non Indy fan" myself and many others looked at the brackets and 3 names came to mind, Danielson, Claudio, Albright...The final 4 came down to the three of them and Pearce, logically thinking if you wanted to try and put the NWA Title back to "meaningful" you'd stick it on a guy that people would know. Instead they put it on the one guy that most fans had no idea who it was. It went down hill from there. Its nothing against Pearce, Ive seen his matches and he's a hell of a worker but he still doesnt have that "name power" that was needed.

If the stories going around about the NWA guys are true, I don't blame them.

Well, Danielson was rumoured to be the winner until he ended up getting injured right before the final. The NWA is basically dead now, they needed to have a big indy name holding the title like Davey or Eddie Edwards.

I love the guy but he makes this huge travesty about WWE letting him go...I get it, it was his childhood dream, but you would think if it was that important to him he would have worked more on making his body look like a major league player. but yeah I'm surprised he didn't throw the belt down and reclaimed it as the ECW championships

I don't get that at all from him, yeah he says that it sucks, but he also talks about how happy he is to be where he currently is, doing his own thing.
And quite honestly, he SHOULD be part of WWE. He's probably not main event material, but they have plenty of comedy wrestlers who are over.

For what it's worth, The "Tokyo Monster" Kahagias won the title in an elimination match in Clayton, New Jersey on November 2nd.
