I remember some UK'ers stumbled upon this error when the WM28 figures fist popped up. I couldn't notice how bad it looked in their pics, but boy does this ever bring it front and center. I don't even think a little sculpey or black paint would make that look any less awkward due to the fairly large gap and angle of the error.
If you can't fix or return it somehow, send me a PM. Maybe we can do a random trade. I'd still like to have an extra head of Ricardo.

I think they fixed it by gently removing the hairpiece from the head and putting it back on in a way that the hairpiece makes contact with the "garden snake"

looks like a leech lol just a tiny bit of sculpy to join it to the actual hair line and some black paint, you dont have to be the best sculptor to do it, just keep it in the flow of the "leech" and you'll be fine, it may not look great close up but if its on display it'll look fine. atleast you wont have the skin tone making it look like another piece of hair.

Yup. It's an easy fix. Mine was the same way. Just removed the hair and reset it slightly. Looks perfect now. Did you just superglue it back on? No, it doesn't need it. The head isn't attached too much with glue in the first place, there's kind of a slot in the head that it "plugs" into. So it'll just pop right back on securely with no need for glue. Just make sure you're careful but firm peeling it off. It is glued on a little above the ears, but with a bit of work (similar to a wobbly tooth) it'll come off.

I would probably just paint it with black acrylic paint.

I would probably just paint it with black acrylic paint. There's no way that could make it look right.
