Tom Lawlor came out at the weigh-ins as the Shockmaster. HAHAHAHAHA.

I didn't really have a good standing in the crowd. The ten people in the crowd who knew about Shockmaster popped, that was it, everyone else was like... huh?

Georges St-Pierre (c) Vs Carlos Condit - First Round KO
Martin Kampmann Vs Johnny Hendricks - Unanimous Decision
Francis Carmont Vs Tom Lawlor - Unanimous Decision
Nick Ring Vs Constantinos Philippou - First Round KO
Mark Hominick Vs Pablo Garza - Second Round TKO
All I want is a finish for either GSP or Condit. Love both guys, but I seriously just want someone to finish in epic fashion. Going with Condit because Georges seems a little too eager as of late. He started to look terrible trying to force a finish against Shields back in 2011. I know he got eye poked, but the clinical decision machine GSP would have never let that happen.

Can Tom get "Best Weigh In of the Night" awards?

Damn, Nick Ring vs. Costa Philippou cancelled. Ring has some kind of virus and the doctor wouldn't clear him. I thought he looked awful at the weigh-in.
Mark Bocek vs. Rafael dos Anjos is being moved up. Not sure why they'd go with that, since I think the other 3 FX fights would have been much better choices.

Stuff like the Shockmaster impression is why I am a Tom Lawler fan.

at least they have a good amount of fights already, to deal with getting one cancelled. usually if we get a fight cancelled on fight day, that knocks the card to only 9 or 10 fights... we still have 12 on this one, mercifully.

I swear to ing god, SOMETHING happens every single card now that gets a fight cancelled. Agreed. Sucks cause Ring is my hometown boy. And it looks like he wanted to fight anyways. At least that is good. Sent from my GT-I5500M using proboards

Yeah, Elkins is annoying me with this. Although the fight had its moments, he just seemed content with going hard early on in the fight, then just coasting through the other two rounds.

I also gotta say a few things about John Hackleman. Hackleman is old school. And, I appreciate his efforts. But his advice between rounds is similar to what you'll hear at a local sports bar.

Like I said, the fight had its moments, and I could see he was putting on some kind of effort, but I just don't like when fighters coast when they know they're winning, but I'm not a fighter, so what do I know? Just speaking from a fans perspective.

Ivan Menjivar vs. Azamat Gashimov coming up now. Gashimov fights out of Mike Constantino's gym here in Jersey, so I'm glad we got someone from Jersey representing!
