Borga was ace, my earliest memories of the wwf thats a horrible promo lol Good thing he was wearing that sweet denim vest. Don't let the promos fool you. Ludvig was a Wrangler guy.

I can't see Yoko losing to Taker at the rumble. Taker too a break between the rumble and Summerslam and they were really going for the Luger/Yoko feud at the time, maybe Borga would have taken the title from Luger after WM at the KOTR or at Summerslam. The "plans" for UT to win the title at the rumble were penciled in before WWF found out how banged up UT was. This added into Borga's ankle, Luger's lack of fanbase, and other things changed things. I really wish he had seen Luger vs. Bret for the title as the final match at WrestleMania X. I really don't see the big deal of giving the belt to Luger for a few hours even if he did spill the beans the night before at a bar. Yeah I think Luger at least deserved to defeat Yoko at WM10, even if he lost it to Bret later in the night.

He was replaced by Kwang in the Royal Rumble. Booger was always scheduled per the advertisements. Kwang was a complete newcomer, I don't even think he was on TV wrestling before that night. At least I had never seen him prior to the PPV. 123 Kid was replaced by Bob Holly. I had never seen him on TV ether. Virgil replaced Kamala which dissapointed and pissed me at age 9 as I loved seeing Kamala. McMahon acknowledged the Virgil replacement which made sense to get comment from Dibiase but I can't remember if the others were annouced.
Borga was scheduled to face Earthquake at Wrestlemania X. That would have been an interesting match. I can't see Borga losing and Earthquake can't lose. I wonder how the Tatanka RR match wouldv'e gone. Maybe a DQ win for Tatanka unless Borga was done storyline wise and Tatanka could get a return victory from the Fall loss.
Borga has been long gone by time I got the Green card figure in stores in April 1995. It's cool he is remembered almost 20 years later. He was close to main event as possible at the time and had an interesting gimmick. Nothing wrong with pointing out the deplorable nature of a neighborhood but I guess he got close to Iron Sheik territory with "American is crumbling" but never said "Finland #1."

I never saw any figure from that line at retail. Ever. Ludvig Borga is such an obscure name to wrestling fans. He was in the WWF for only six months yet made a pretty big impact. He made his PPV debut in a squash match against Jannetty at Summerslam. Three months later, he was in the main event at Survivor Series. Then, he just vanished and was never heard from again.
