Does anybody know if wrongly carded figures are rare/worth any money? The reason I ask is because I saw a Battle Pack 19 that was carded for D.Bry/Big Show but in the packet was Cena/Kane.
I was really tempted to get it but AJ was more important to me and I was excited at the fact they had her (only 1) after 3 weeks of looking.

If you look on ringside collectibles they aren't that much money. But they aren't new either. I would buy that if I was you because it could be worth a whole lot of money. But trust me, I would get AJ over many figures

I would have def picked up AJ over the error. If it was at Wal-Mart or K-Mart I would have put the errored card on layaway just to make sure it was there when I had the funds. You never know what the rarity or value of it could be in 2 or 3 years.

This was at a specialist/collector's shop here in England. I went in looking for something else as I thought they didn't sell wrestling figures anymore. The guy said they'd had the delivery about 2 weeks ago, but I think they was fresh out as it looked like a complete box on the shelf.

No, but I'd take advantage of somebody else's mistake!

Collectors shops like Forbidden Planet got them in towards the end of last week, so they probably were new out.

Shouldve hidden it and gone back for it. Could be worth something in a while

Some people do collect them, but not everyone sees them as valuable. They are rare, but not everyone will spend big money on them.

Errors are worthless

Errors are only worth what people are willing to pay for them. As you can see from this thread, some people think they should be worth a ton and some people think they should be worth less than normal figures. I think they're an interesting and weird thing to have, but I wouldn't buy one for more than retail.
When it comes to old series like Hasbro figures, people shell out the biiig bucks for errors just for the reason that there's nothing else new left to collect.

it depends on who you're trying to sell it to some people really enjoy collecting that stuff....most do not, i would never pay a "premium" price for an error carded figure because i'm a loose collector

The only errors that are ever worth anything is if there is something that SHOULD not be there, for example if an E1 fig came out in a Jeff Hardy package that could be money. Or if there is explicit content. Otherwise it's just shoddy production.

Not really a variant, not really an error... an err-iant?? An example would be Hasbro Sgt. Slaughter with no name or OSFTM African-American Jimmy Hart.
