So I'm petrified of spiders, there isn't any way I can describe how I feel about them, its THE single most horrible feeling I've had in my entire life, in order of bad experiences, it comes #1 over being alone in front of my nans coffin as it was sent through into the flames, loosing part of my finger and nearly passing out due to blood loss and breaking my ankle on the beach and not being able to move on the sand.
my skin feels alive, like a crawling sensation all over, I go deathly cold, hairs on my arms stick up my heat beat races to the point sometimes I feel dizzy.
anyways onto the main story, in the last 2 weeks in the news papers they've done articles on spider bites in the UK that have happened recently, story 1 happend to a woman as she slept the was bitten by a regular house spider her arm got messed up and they nearly had to amputate it, and the second on was with a man who suffered the same, only he was bitten in the garden.
I checked my facebook this morning and someone's put up a status saying that they've lost their tarantula, and they live fairly close to me. needless to say i am crapTING myself.... I know tarantula's rarely bite as their defence mechanism is to flick hairs, but if they're angry and not in their normal habitat they become more liable to bite.
this fear is so bad not one day goes by where I dont think of it, If I have to do something I do quick evaluations of where a spider could be, before I go to bed I do the 4 corners of the room spider check or I cant sleep. Theres an gully up the road which I need to walk through to get the bus but a few weeks ago I noticed a spider in a web about 2 metes above head level and havent walked through there since because I'm so scared it could lower itself onto me. I had an incident back last year when I had a Woodlouse spider on my face, I thought it'd landed on my chest so covered my face as so it wouldn't be able to get there, and found out i'd trapped it on my face.
I'm considering getting some sort of help at the moment but I dont even know how to go about it.... any ideas.

I know how you feel about spiders bro. Used to feel pretty similar to that a few years ago, and just the descriptions you mentioned have got me a little tensed up. But I think I'm pretty much completely over my fear of them now. Ever since I made a conscious decision to not be afraid of them, I've been able to pick them up and not worry about them, even if they crawl up my arm and I don't know where they went. I think it helps for the fact that I find them fascinating creatures and love looking at them.

I can say that I also have a fear of spiders except to a far lesser degree. As far as you being conscious of the tarantula and the possibility that it may be laying dorment in your home, I'd suggest mouse traps all around the floors of your home other then that I don't really see how this issue can be resolved meanwhile until the spider is captured.

Suicide is the only way out.
You must face your fears. Become the hunter. You will return the spider to the person who lost it!

I'm scared of tape, which is strange as I'm alright in a ring, when I'm wrestling.

I feel the same way about flying roaches and mayonaise. The roaches weigh a ton, and they fly like jetpacks, not planes. They fly, then fall because they are so heavy, and they dive-bomb at you because they are evil little ers. People say roaches are harmless, but you know that if they could hurt you that they would take joy in it. I ironically like all spiders except for daddy long legs. Spiders never bite me, and they kill annoying bugs, so I like them. Granted, if I see one, I'll kill it, but they don't bother me.

My sister's dog is literally scared of anything possible, such as plastic store bags.

A lot of people on here know this and there's the occasional joke about it, but yes, I am still scared of most large birds. Particularly ostriches and emus.

I'm not afraid of mustard per se, but I find it to be the most disgusting substance ever, smelling it or looking at it makes me wanna vomit & if any got on me somehow I would have a major freak out. I'm also terrified of frogs & snakes. I will run away from a frog & scream like a little girl...people like to bust my balls about it since I'm a big guy, but I don't care, those little bastards are scary.

Hypodermic needles. If I have to go to a doctor, I will not sleep the night before because I'll be fearing it. I'll get a cold sweat at the doctors office. The last time it happened, I shook, put the death grip on the nurse's hand as I had blood drawn, almost passed out, then threw up afterwards. I have not been to a doctor for years because of it.
Heights are another. **** that.
Also, being in a vehicle that is going too fast and is being driven by someone else.

Spiders make me freeze the up. I'm the only one I know who's not afraid of spiders. But if they're pretty big and I think they could be poisonous, forget it. I will cringe. Which reminds me, at the last apartment we lived at, we had a spider that lived right out our back door on the stairway. HUGE spider, was fuzzy and had yellow stripes. We knew if it was touched it would **** your day up. It stayed there all summer, all fall, and all winter. Even when we were packing up to leave there it was still there. We figured it was going to be there forever so we named it Boris, after this song:

Wasps can burn in hell. Their only purpose on earth is to induce pain and suffering.
I tend to freak out when needles are involved. I was fine when I was younger, idk why or when I developed such a hatred for them.
