I'm sure most of you already heard the news of TNA dropping Against All Odds and No Surrender. Personally I would have kept either PPV and dropped HardCore Justice instead. What are your guys thoughts on this?

I like Hardcore Justice if they'd just book it better. I'm a big supporter of quality not quantity so if the ppvs deliver ill be pleased

Why did they drop them?

Makes since as they never hyped it and always focused on the PPV the following month. I assume they were not making money on them otherwise they wouldnt of dropped them.

I figured this was a post saying they were dropping PPVs all together. Other than Bound for Glory, nothing is ever really built up to or any more important than Impact.

It seems like TNA will have 2 or 3 really great PPVs in a row, and then 2 or 3 bad ones in a row, and then it picks up again. Maybe now they'll just cut the bad shows and focus more on better PPVs. I have faith in it because I know when TNA takes time and lays out a PPV it delivers.

Not a good sign if they're having to drop show's now

Not a good sign if they're having to drop show's now No, not really... because they're not "having" to drop shows. They're wanting to drop the # of pay-per-views. Dixie Carter has been saying for years that she doesn't like the current market of wrestling pay-per-views and wants to cut back on the amount, so... that's what they're doing. They're doing the thing that many fans have been wanting: less pay-per-views. EDIT: Dixie on pay-per-views from an interview in 2009: "I'm not a big fan of monthly PPVs, quite honestly, but you have contracts that keep you held in and bound at times," Carter said. "We're definitely talking about trying to shake things up and do things differently in the future."" --- I hope TNA will drop the May event because it'd give them a good big build between Lockdown and Slammiversary.

I say keep the big 4- Lockdown, Slammiversary, BFG, Destination X on PPV and have one show on Saturday Night on Spike in between each PPV

Yeah, beat me to it. This has been in the works for a while and since the contract ends this year they can alter the amount. I wish WWE would do the same really.

Good decisions by TNA so far, moving Lockdown to March and cutting down on ppv's. You'd have to think this has been in the works for quite some time now. I wouldn't be surprised if they cut down another ppv by next year.

I say keep the big 4- Lockdown, Slammiversary, BFG, Destination X on PPV and have one show on Saturday Night on Spike in between each PPV This would be perfect and help TNA a lot I think. This way there's no way they don't see an increase in ratings, at least for the Saturday free-for-view type shows, and if they deliver, more people will tune in to see the build. And those 4 ppvs are special enough to where ur notthinking why would I buy when they have a free show every other month. I just think free to view events would be great.

I say keep the big 4- Lockdown, Slammiversary, BFG, Destination X on PPV and have one show on Saturday Night on Spike in between each PPV I'd go with this too, but maybe just have 1 Impact show as a supercard in between PPV's as opposed to a Saturday special.

I say keep the big 4- Lockdown, Slammiversary, BFG, Destination X on PPV and have one show on Saturday Night on Spike in between each PPV I like this line-up! For the longest time I've never liked having a wrestling PPV for each company for each month. At times WWE had TWO within a month. I think a good schedule is to have one every other month tops. For TNA's case, I liked the line up mentioned. For WWE, I'd have the big four and a few others (2-3) around the year.
