I honestly don't think Diaz will make the same mistake twice.

If they didn't give him the shot, I guess Ellenberger is the best option available right now for Hendricks. Probably wanted to put Hendricks on the card in case anyone in the Main Event pulls out.

Updated the fight card and added the poster. Poster looks pretty badass. Looks like a wrestling poster, with Nick Diaz faded in the background. A little too much blue though, lol.

I feel upset with myself for actually believing we might actually have gotten to witness the Anderson Silva/ GSP superfight next... Personally I see GSP winning it, I dont think GSP even knows how strong he really is, and would even suprise himself at how he could control Anderson with his wrestling.
Really...we should have been seeing Diaz vs GSP instead of vs Condit anyway.
Anybody else see ellenberger having a big shot against johnny?

I don't know, we'll see. I will say that Ellenberger has much better striking defense than Kampmann has, but let's see how he reacts to Hendricks' power. The top 3 welterweight fights are ing insane. It's really 6 top-10 guys, I love it.

With Sakara out, Cote has decided to make his 170 debut on this card instead.

Some great fights have been added:
Welterweight bout: Bobby Voelker vs. Patrick Côté Welterweight bout: Jordan Mein vs. Dan Miller Lightweight bout: John Makdessi vs. Daron Cruickshank Middleweight bout: Chris Camozzi vs. Nick Ring
Mein vs. Miller just puts a huge smile on my face.

Interesting GSP quote from today's press conference: "I watched (Hendricks) fight with Josh Koscheck, and I believe that Josh Koscheck should have won that fight, and I don't want to fight someone that lost to a fighter I beat," said St-Pierre, during a press conference on Wednesday. "For me, Nick Diaz is the No. 1 contender. He has proven himself many times before. This is the fight Nick wanted to have, I wanted to have, and people wanted to see the most." So you dont want to fight someone who lost to someone you already beat... uhh.. Then this Diaz fight makes sense. It's not like he's coming off a loss to Condit who GSP just beat. Just come out and say you dont like the fact that Hendricks has a shot to knock your ing block off and you want bigger money fights. Jesus. Cmon Georges.

Once again, I don't give a sh*t what anyone says, Diaz won the Condit fight 3 or 4 rounds to 1.

Hendricks probably deserved the next shot at GSP - but there's unfinished business with Diaz from when they were first meant to fight. I don't know... it's kind of cool that GSP wants Diaz so badly (...when was the last time GSP called anyone out?). The only clear-cut rounds were the second to Diaz and the fourth to Condit... I thought Condit edged rounds 1 and 3 - the 5th could have gone either way.

Diaz controlled the pace of the fight in rounds 1 and 2 and in my opinion was throwing the more effective strikes, he clearly took those rounds. The 5th was very close on the stand up, then Diaz got his back, how anyone can say Diaz didn't win the 5th round is beyond me.

Rory MacDonald is out of his fight against Condit due to injury. No replacement yet.
